I picked up an order today of a 2 chicken breasts combo with half rice and half attikee, with a side order of plantains and salad. Wow. Great flavour, and you get LOTS. I enjoyed their food a lot and will definitely be coming back. The chicken had that perfect crisp from the fire. You won't get that kind of texture and taste anywhere else. Fantastic and definitely recommend.

Tonight was the first time my wife and I went to Pili Pili restaurant and who gave us a tour and excellent customer service was the owners wife, Libra. It is the best charcoal chicken we had since a long time ago! Flavor, spice, consistency etc. "Excellent " also the rice and plantain were real tasty!
We ordered takeout last night from the Orleans location and my husband, son and I were all amazed by the food and the service. The chicken was the best thing we’ve eaten for a long time, so flavorful and well prepared. You can tell the food is made with love! New regular customers for sure.
Delicious as always. Generous portions, fresh salad, and the plantains were awesome. And of course the chicken was perfection.
I don't say this lightly, but this is by far my most favourite restaurant in Ottawa. The food is consistently delicious and the flavours are dynamic. It's my most visited restaurant in the city I've never had the chance to dine in as I began ordering from them during the pandemic. I seriously couldn't live without it.
OMG the chicken... Must try... We will be coming back for sure. The rice was good. The salad was basic but nice and crisp so the quality is high. I enjoyed the plantain which was sweet and rich. We had never tried attieke before. Alone I found it to not have much flavour but with the salsa that comes with it we quite enjoyed it.
Chicken was fresh and piping hot. Medium is still plenty spicy, think almost Hot wings hot. Was borderline too hot for kids but they still loved it you can choose from non-spicy to hot. Whole chicken was served chopped into bits and was tender and perfectly cooked. The shop's Magic Powder can be had to spice it up further - the stuff is incredible. As for sides we had rice, friend plantain and fries. Fries were the crispy type and were good. Rice was filled with herbs and mixed veggies like carrots and peas it arrived hot and buttery good. Plantain was almost crispy with a hint of sweet banana flavor. Next to the chicken it was my favorite thing. Staff are great going as far as to let the kids try a couple drinks they'd never had before they made up their minds. Good value and tasty food served by nice folks. Definitely worth your time for take out call ahead to speed up your order or dine in. The restaurant has a reasonable amount of seating if you choose to stay.
I went here because of the great reviews. I'd say that it's only "okay". The chicken itself is good, as long as you don't get the "No Spice". The sides are very plain and bland, though. They can definitely improve by changing up their sides coleslaw instead of salad, better seasoning for the rice, lose the Costco fries. The prices are a little high considering the quality of the sides. If I were to return, I'd only get the chicken and figure out sides for myself.
This is by far the best chicken I’ve ever had. Not just best in town, but best ever. Plantains also never fail. Rice is good. And the salad... we’ll I don’t come here for salad. But, it’s still good too. It’s our go to place and their lunch special gets you the best bang for your buck. Come in and get some chicken.
