Before beginning my physio I barely could move my shoulder after several months I can now play golf, swim and without pain. As an update after 2 summer months of activities I can continue to enjoy without pain. Thank you Alexis from physioactif.
Charles was great. Gave lots of advice and support. Was available by email as well and quickly replied to any questions sent. Tore my ACL and had surgery to repair. Was able to start playing sports only 7 months after surgery and that was because of all the physio and exercises I did before and after surgery. Highly recommend!

Not to take anything from the place itself, but my belief is a good seed will only flourish in a good soil. Never one without the other. I will start with Physioactif. Physioactif was one of few suggestions I got after my stay at the hospital. The first call with them was enough to make the decision that I want to go to them. The professionalism, the diligence in getting all medical information, making me prepare all papers way ahead of time so they can look at my medical file before assigning me to the right therapist. Moving on to the therapist. I had many experiences in my life with physio therapists, some are good and others are OK. Recently I need some physio therapy and I had the chance to be treated by Alexis Gougeon. Me being a scientific person, I understand in facts and numbers. What I loved about Alexis, his knowledge and his mastering of his craft. He is able to quickly undermine the reasons behind my pain and most importantly he excelled in explaining it to me with detailed information both verbal and visual. That was more than enough for me to build the trust with him and so I don't forget, he did help me fix my problems neck, hands, shoulders, back, .... I highly recommend Alexis Gougeon and therefore Physioactif Laval.
I suffered a severe ankle injury mid year and would like to thank Alexis Gougeon from PhysoActif for his great knowledge and help on treating my injury. He’s been working with me 2x a week and not only helped me physically but also mentally on how to get that extra push to help an injury heal better. Thank you to the entire team. My experience at Physioactif Laval is a very positive one. Everyone at this clinic is professional; from the receptionists, Silvia and Patrice who are welcoming, efficient and accommodating, to my physiotherapist, Claudine Farah who is approachable, dynamic, competent, and truly dedicated to helping her patients to recovery. I sincerely appreciate her precision in evaluating and implementing the appropriate treatment which led to my returning to work without any limitations. I highly recommend Claudine and her co-workers for their expertise, services and for caring! Thank You!
Great Team of staff with excellent knowledge, care and professionalism. Received treatment for my shoulder and neck with some exercises I could do from home. After working with Claudine for just over a month, the pain significantly decreased. The staff at physioactif "go the extra mile" to ensure you understand the issues and ensure that your treatment will help you in the long term. I would definitely recommend physioactif laval. During the pandemic, I came across physiotherapist Alexis Gougeon's podcasts on Spotify. All the episodes were very interesting as he had experienced invites for each different topic. I saw a lot of physiotherapists due to many injuries whilst practising many sports, some were good and others were ok.  I had the idea to consult Alexis at his clinic physioactif, in Laval, as I thought I had a bunion growing on my left foot.  It was a very very different experience.  First, we elaborated a realistic plan together in terms of expectations and timeframe.  Second, he never used "tense" , ultrasound, ice, heat or whatsoever.  He was very professional and always punctual.  He has this ability to vulgarise complicated pathologie . At the moment that I expected the least, he brought back the initial plan we elaborated together which I had totally forgotten. We were able to conclude together, step by step, with some exercises I could do from home.  He kindly offered that we touched base using email in regards to any concerns on my injury.  I highly recommend this clinic as all the staff is very professional, welcoming, efficient and accommodating from the receptionists to the physiotherapists.
