Phong for Hair is one of the best salons I’ve ever been to. I moved to California a year ago and believe it or not I’m still looking for a good salon. I miss the staff at Phongs always was more than satisfied with my hair.

My first time there & Rhianna did awesome job on lowlights. I had grey roots & had dyed my hair blonde because as a brunette I thought it would be less noticeable which it did not. I love my hair & can't stop looking in mirror. Lol

Phuong does not have a set price for hair color. She has a price list behind the cash register but does not follow it. She charges you more each time you come for a retouch. The last time i was there for a highlight retouch she didnt know how to scam me more so she charged the blow dry after they washed off the color and she said it was considered “styling” and bam $45 additional. The first and second time she never charged anything for that then all of a sudden she charged me on my third visit. Isn’t it supposed to be included in the cost of hair color service to dry the hair especially it has been washed after they colored it? Especially when i specifically told them i dont need curling or straightening just a plain hair dry. Nobody asked me if i wanted styling and that nobody told me it costs $45 to dry my hair after they had washed it. If you ask her before you get any service done she will change the topic and will sit you right away and brush off your question of “how much”. She also does a good job in asking so casually if she can put the same dye on your eyebrows to match the hair color then lo and behold without you knowing it you have fallen into her trap that’s $10 honey. When you get to the cash register you get shocked of how much she charges you very diff from the initial quote she had provided. She will then come up with a lame excuse and try to blame it on the customer why it was that much. Then she raises her voice because other customers are looking and you feel embarrassed because she makes you look like it’s your fault why you were charged that much. Her staff that did a good job in hair color have resigned just recently. Not going back there again. She doesn’t value her customers all she thinks about is how she can scam you more and squeeze money right out of you. Shame on you Phuong!
