Had a lunch date earlier at this location today, enjoyed the atmosphere and Pho quite a bit. It was my first time experiencing Pho here in Edmonton and must say it was very pleasant. The company I had along with the great heart warming comfort food was a great combination. I enjoyed every moment of my time spent here today. I will recommend this place moving forward for the Pho dishes that they have to offer. Which is a plethora of amazing options!
This has been my go to place since i've lived in Alberta 7 yrs ago. They had a different owner back then. With the new ownership, it has consistently kept the quality of food that they serve. Service is good. A good place for family as well. The best Pho in southside Edmonton.
This place was great. I only had pho #62 with added meatballs and the broth had a great flavour. We were greeted and seated right away and the food was served really fast and piping hot. The employees were friendly and the restaurant was clean and well maintained. Will return for sure.
Take out soup is poured into plastic bag and take out had no utensils. The worst part is the vegetables in the soup were mouldy. What kind of quality control is this. To make the matter worse, I had take out and gave a nominal tip which I heard the two waitresses complain about. I will never go back there again.
Have been going here for a few years now, and they never disappoint. Great fast & friendly service, and food is always great.
The place was packed this afternoon when we arrived. We waited for 10 mins to get seated because no server came to the door/waiting area. It took 15 mins to order pho because no one came to our table and we had to flag kitchen staff in order to place an order. We waited for 40+ minutes for two bowls of pho. Overall, I was really disappointed with the lack of service at the restaurant. The pho was average.
Staff are nice and welcoming. I've been going here for years and their foods are tasty. Though recently, I noticed that the noodle soup I usually orders lacks flavor, the amount of noodles decreased even though I had large might be due to covid; not a lot of people coming in and there were barely any brisket, tendons or tripes than it used to be the last time I went there, my bowl only had 1 of each instead of the *usual more than 3 of each. But still, I'm glad that their customer service is still nice
Went here after the new owners took over from the previous Pho Hoa location. Their broth recipe was quite good but as the other reviewers have stated the amount of meat given in the soup is inadequate. Like, half of what you get anywhere else.
I love pho, it’s my comfort food, my usual craving and I’ve have tried it from lots of places in Edmonton before finding this place. I have to say, the broth here was EXACTLY what I wanted, I loved it so much, the noodles were fresh, the meat was delicious. So happy! Thanks for restoring my faith in pho in Edmonton.
Has to be one of the more disappointing Vietnamese food experience I’ve had in a long time. Wontons we horrendous and very doughy. the egg noodles had a consistency that I’ve not had before. Like they were undercooked but not. The salad roles we’re 2 for $8 and were bland. The green ognon cakes were good, the staff were very friendly
