I grew up in a small town that had a few authentic Vietnamese restaurant’s throughout the years, so I was quite excited to try Pho Vi. Sadly the flavor was missing for us. Everything was bland with no aromatics. Toppings were limited. The pre-portioned Thai tea was more milk than tea, again lacking flavor. My mom was confused when the pho came with a lemon rather than a lime.. I don’t know if I’d come back, their curry looked good.
Good vibes in the restaurant and great service! And the food was AMAZING! Highly recommend the Curry and Coconut Milk Noodles, and the Beef Lemongrass soup!Dine in: YesTakeout: YesDelivery: No
Best Pho, Ever! I highly recommend going here for any of your fav Vietnamese dishes. They’re authentic and delicious. Staff is friendly, and service is quick.
Delicious! Food was brought out quickly. Veggies were crisp and fresh. Noodles cooked perfectly and some of the best fried rice I've ever had! Place is small, clean, and friendly. All around fantastic first experience. Will definitely be coming back.
Absolutely exceeded my expectations! The food was amazing. My friend and I ordered the Top Round Pho and Fried Rice with bbq pork, chicken, and shrimp. The portions were large, and the dishes were devine. This place is the most surprising restaurant I have been to in Missoula, in a long time. Not only was the food amazing, but the staff was attentive and child friendly. I had my 14 month old son with us and was promptly greeted and brought a high chair. I highly recommend this restaurant and hope you'll give it a chance, as I personally would like this restaurant to stick around. So go get you some Pho and tell people about this place! Sincerely, A local foodie excited for the food diversity and taste bud pleasure.
I've been eating here for years they used to be downtown blocks from my house which I most certainly took advantage of and miss dearly but now it's a treat to order take out. We get samosas the dipping sauce is so complimentary and wonderful, Mongolian Beef stir fry with rice, and Sesame Seed Chicken Curry Noodles. Pho Vi are always polite on the phone, concise, consistent, great quality of food, value is very fair, portions are large for sharing or leftovers. Just a great family and establishment, thank you for your service of wonderful dishes to the Missoula community. WE LOVE IT. Cheers, Megan and Rob.
Pho at this place might not be the best we have ever tried, but it still was very tasty. The portions are very large, and it is almost impossible to finish. It was a little chilly inside, but we still enjoyed the visit. Great egg rolls and pho.
Ordered: Garlic Hot Sauce Beef Stir Fry extra-spicy, South Vietnamese Curry Stir Fry w/ Chicken extra-spicy, and Tofu Spring Rolls. The food was ready for pick-up within ~20 minutes. The spring rolls were very light and fresh with mint. The fried tofu inside was tasty. The two stir fry were similar in taste, in part because they shared the same mixture of vegetables, but I slightly preferred the creaminess of the coconut curry. The meats beef and chicken were tender in both. The stir fry sauces were hot and oily, which I like, but might be too heavy if you had to return to work afterwards. The portion size was much bigger than I anticipated, so two people could probably split a single stir fry. The food is reasonably priced, especially compared to Missoula's downtown restaurant scene. A single dish at a comparable Thai place I know Pho Vi is Vietnamese, not Thai downtown will probably cost upwards of $16, whereas at Pho Vi, each stir fry is $13.50. And again, with the large portion size, you get a lot of bang for your buck. One warning: Careful while transporting the food home in your car. I was holding the bag as the passenger and a fair bit of stir fry sauce leaked out onto my pants. I'd gladly eat here again. The food has a great home-style taste. Friendly place. Go check it out.
I haven't been to the new location, but at their old location I always requested my pho crazy spicy. The cook would sit down and watch me eat to see if it was sweating enough. Worth every penny. Amazing food.
An amazing little whole in the wall vietnamese restaurant. Coming from Spokane, this place is a breath of fresh air for Montana! Super yummy food fried rice, pho, spring rolls and Thai tea! Priced very reasonably. They do fill up fast on weekends due to small seating area, but worth the wait. Not the best attentive service, but that's what I expect for places like these. Love supporting our local Asian Americans!
