Gotta say, didn’t really have much expectation since in Aurora location. So tried the rare beef with beef balls pho. It’s actually better than my expectation. Broth is nice and hot enough to cook the rare beef and is quite flavourful. Lots of onion which I love , no complaints! The decor is the typical you will see in an Asian restaurant, nothing stand out but nothing bad either, very clean!
Recently visited Pho Saigon in Newmarket this past Saturday with some friends, and we were absolutely satisfied with the dinner and options that were offered. Everything was fresh and looked amazing when served. Portions were very generous, and the cost is totally worth the quality! We will be visiting Pho Saigon again to try their other menu options, seeing how good everything was! Highly recommended! A+ Parking: Plenty of parking
Not bad. Menu selection is smaller than other Vietnamese restaurant, but the flavour is on point, portion is just right. This is the ultimate Comfort food.
Very quiet and clean. Polite waitress. A little expensive but it was a big portion. Very delicious. Wait time was short. When I paid with cash, the change was shorted heavily and I wasn't given a receipt. They likely tipped themselves without asking...
Food was excellent but got take out and had no forks nor napkins. Usually that's fine by me, but I actually needed that for this particular takeout lolFood: 5/5
I had a medium well done beef, flank and meatball pho for lunch today. The beef is very fresh. The meatball's texture is very springy. The soup is balanced and not salty. Very nice. The waiters and the waitress are very polite and attentive. The place is very clean. Social distance is observed. Time to support local business during this post-covid period.
I have personally known the owner for many years. 28 years to be exact. I have been best friends with him since high school 1995 If you ever visit the Newmarket area please stop in and see him. The food is awesome! I ordered the chicken stir fry S1 on the menu and you get enough of a serving for two people! It will run you around $20...which is around average now a days with inflation. I ordered take out as I was just visiting him. Its a small little restaurant in a big city setting that is nice, clean and cozy. There was a table of 6 other people that were eating in and they were all impressed with the quality of food and service. You will not be disappointed! I promise!!
Consistently disappointing and quality has gone downhill. I've been ordering from Pho Saigon for 3 years, as one of the few places to order decent Vietnamese food, especially pho. Unfortunately, the last time I ordered was the last straw for our family. The pho is VERY oily, lacking flavor, the rice noodles are overcooked, protein portions are small, no matter what size you order. And worse off, this was the second time we failed to receive basil, bean sprouts and sauces for our pho. The lack of care is concerning. The serving size has decreased substantially and it's just not very tasty anymore, while prices have gone up. I hope sincerely that they reboot and get back some authenticity. I can't recommend Pho Saigon for pho anymore, especially if you have enjoyed some good pho before.
WOW, my search for a delicious and balanced pho in York region is over! Ever since we discovered the most delicious pho downtown Toronto we've been looking for a similar taste closer to home. I've tried several local places and been letdown with pho that is too salty, oily, flavors just off, etc. Pho Saigon has none of those issues, the broth is truly so flavorful and the noodles are perfectly cooked. I've ordered 4 times since discovering and consistency is on point, everything perfect every time! Portion size is perfect as well. They respect simple requests such as no onions which is excellent and the customer service is always great and friendly. I've always got takeout so far but the restaurant is very nice and clean and has a cosy atmosphere, I would definitely eat in sometime. Oh and finally the prices are very reasonable which is hard to find these days, $13.25 for my large pho. Because of all this I am now a loyal customer who will order 1-2 times a week!
This place is nice and clean. It is not crowded at lunch time and the service is good. I wish they include chicken and pork broth for the noodle soup. Although they only have beef broth, the flavor is rich and tasty. The vermicelli and the grilled pork were a bit over cooked, but the grilled pork was very tender and tasty. Prices are average and the portions are good. Parking here is available.
