I ordered the most expensive meal on the menu beef chicken and shrimp the chicken was boiled and just tossed on the grill to make some marks! The picture on the menu showed a full chicken breast I received a quarter of a breast. The shrimp was so overcooked and tough. The onion wrapped beef was cold and tough. The spring rolls were also very over baked about as close to burnt as you can get without actually being burnt. I will never order from this establishment again. Also my partner ordered a completed different meal the lemongrass chicken and guess what was on her plate? THE REST OF MY CHICKEN BREAST! NOT WORTH THE MONEY ID SOONER GO TO MCDONALD'S.
crazy how one of the reviews said they would sooner go to macdonalds cause that is exactly what I thought upon trying their pho. The broth was tasteless and poorly done, there were no sprouts or cilantro or any sliced onions. Ther serving sizes are smaller than I am used to, and the beef chunks in mine were also smaller than I am used to. The hot sauce said "sriracha" on it but tasted like franks red hot. They provided hoi sin sauce which hardly added any flavor to the broth at all. I only ordered cause Pho Tayo was closed but I won't be ordering here again.
I pacifically told the waitress I was allergic to bean sprouts, and when I got my food the bean sprouts were hidden under neath the lettuce in my bowl. I didn't realize there was any in there until I put one in my mouth and recognized the texture. The waitress also never came back to check on us. This has happened not once but twice at this restaurant. I won't be coming back.
Best pho house here in Grande Prairie! Everyone should try there Beef Pho's and Sate! Kid-friendliness: Has the robot that delivers food and kids love it!
this used to be my favourite place for vermicelli. And is still my go to. But my latest experience was very disappointing. The rice noodles were not fresh and were chewy. There were no bean sprouts or cucumber in the dish. The lettuce was wilted with some slimy bits. And the grilled pork was chewy and fatty with some kind of mystery sauce doused all over it. The salad rolls were large with some tasty shrimp in them and that is why I gave three stars. However the peanut sauce was watery and only enough for one roll. Overall: edible but not super enjoyable.
Ordered vermicelli bowl and got rice expected lettuce and carrots etc veggies got a tablespoon of lettuce. ordered ribs and mostly fat dog loved it though was good flavor Very disappointed
Best pho in town. Way better then pho one I ordered the same thing from both places pho house cost less, tastes better, and you get more for your money plus the service is amazing!
Tastes alright but don’t like how the pho isn’t authentic Vietnamese and tastes like there’s coconut milk in it. Not much meat and veggies in the soup as there usually is in most places
This place is not authentic Vietnamese. It is run by Chinese who skimp out on everything. He gave me 3 basil leaves for my Spicy beef satay soup. I don't like that the soup has coconut milk in it and it's not peanuty at all. I won't be returning to this place .
Worst noodle ever no bean sprout no green ions just some soup and meat, the portion is so small with 15$, you can definitely find a better place
