DELICIOUS PHO!!! The only reason this place doesn't have over 4 stars is because COMPLAINERS always take the time to write a review. I am a phoddict, and this is one of my favorite places to go. I'm not adventurous with my selection, so everywhere I go, I get the steak and brisket pho with extra meat and extra noodles. The broth is so good, I don't need to add anything to it, but I love a little spicy kick so Sriracha always ends up in it The meat is the BEST QUALITY of any place I have been in the PNW, and I've been to a LOT of Pho joints to satisfy my phoddiction! It has enough fat to be extremely flavorful, but isn't chewy or overly fatty like some other places. Cost is up there, but guess what..... Quality costs money and all of these ingredients have DOUBLED in price since the 'Rona came to town. The price is worth the deliciousness! To address the complaints : I don't care where you get pho, if you get it to go its never as good as in the restaurant. Almost every older real Asian man at Pho places seem rude. I don't know if it's cultural, or a language barrier thing, but it's everywhere you go. I don't come to get warm fuzzies from the owner, I come for warm Phozzies!!
This place impressed me so much. I saw bad reviews but in reality it was great and tasty I've been traveling around the world for many years and trying Pho all over the US. Thanks for such tasty food. Recommend. Thanks to staff.
Pho was above average, there was a lot of noodles, however I ordered short ribs and shrimp to go and they only gave me one short rib cut into three piece 2 to 3 strips is normal at most restaurants and three shrimp which is standard for shrimp and. A whole bunch of rice
I have been to Pho Dat twice in the last few days and I have been very satisfied with the large pho #2 eye round steak, flank and brisket. It was a good portion for a good price. The deep fried chicken wings were okay - cooked thoroughly and had a nice presentation, just a little bland. The iced Vietnamese coffee was delicious! I’ve seen many bad reviews about the service here. The first time I visited this restaurant, the two gentlemen working were very quiet but I wouldn’t say they were rude. Every time I told my server “thank you”, he quietly responded with “you’re welcome” so that’s good enough for me! My order was correct and I got my food in a short amount of time. The second time, I was helped by a friendly woman. She greeted us, took our order, and even suggested I order a large bowl of pho instead of a small bowl with extra noodles which saved me 50 cents every penny matters. Overall, good experience! Don’t knock it ‘til you try it. And if you still don’t like it then at least be mindful or cook your own food!
Vegetarian pho is amazing - tons of veggies and tasty broth. We've had the spring rolls too, which are great with the peanut sauce. Definitely would recommend. I only wish the setting, or environment, of the restaurant was nicer
I have been here on many occasions solo and with my family. Ordered a #31 since I am on a Veggie/no meat diet. When I opened the container I was extremely disappointed. This is what $9.75 gets you. What is missing here? Well, I don't see bean sprouts, lettuce or cucumbers. I assume the fish sauce was poured over it unlike other places that give it to you in a small container so you can pour how much you want. There were 9 other customers but 7 were already served/eating when I walked in. And 2 walked in about 5min after I ordered. So the "we were extremely busy" shouldn't apply. Unfortunately today this will be my last time eating at this establishment. I plan on making my own version at home and will add a photo of it. Or have my 13yr old make it
They are always fast and courteous. So far I have found that their broth and spring rolls esp the peanut sauce are some of the tasiest around. My only criticism is that I wish they added more seafood in the pho and less bean sprouts to vermicelli in the spring rolls. I've gone there for years and so far so good!
First of all, I never write reviews, but i was so impressed with this restaurant that I HAD to let you know this is a great place to eat. I was a little hesitant because it only had 3.4 stars, but after reading Aaron Ramm's review and experiencing this food - I can't imagine why you'd give it less than 5 stars unless you're a troll or nit picking the setting. It's not a posh restaurant, but it does server fantastic pho. I have had Pho a few times in my life and haven't been a fan, but my wife was in the mood for pho so I tried the local pho restaurant. It supremely exceeded my expectations and now I can say I like pho and we will definitely be back. The quantity of food is abundant. We easily had 2 meals per serving. I got an order of egg rolls, and was disappointed I only got one serving; I wanted more as they were divine. While waiting for my food to be ready, I perused the menu and saw they have Chow Mein - I haven't had good Chow Mein since I was a kid so I'm looking forward to my next visit to try out the Chow Mein.
Overall the Pho is good. Prices are definitely higher then other places, but there aren't many options in this area. The service is extremely hit and miss. There are some very non service oriented people or people that are just mad regardless, I'm not sure which they are, but it doesn't make for an overall great experience. Could be easily a 4 star or higher place if some of the employees decided to enjoy their job. I'll still come here when I'm craving pho and don't feel like driving to Everett. Also forgot to mention, this place will randomly close at different times or just not even be open when listed as being open so make sure to always have a secondary plan for food and definitely don't go out of your way to come here.
Delicious bowl of Phó and great service! I added veggies to mine and the portion was a perfect size. I will definitely come back here. :
