Pho 99

Very affordable pho noodles in 2022 kid meal is only $7.50 including a juice box. The taste is surprisingly Vancouver-Vietnamese authentic, which is very hard to find nowadays. This one is definitely a gem hidden in New Westminster. I would definitely revisit and make this place a regular go-to for me and my family. First visit and it wasn't so busy on an early afternoon. We were greeted and seated right away. Noticed our table were not wiped and could see the grease and water marks. My son kindly asked the server to wipe down the table and she did without a problem We ordered beef pho, 4 mini rolls and 2 fried rolls. I tasted the broth and it was good! Not salty, not greasy it was really tasty ! The amount of meat and noodles matched with the price. The only flaw that my son found was the quality of the rice noodles, it was overcooked and tasted off ! I told my son to tell the server so they could give him fresh noodles and broth on the side and just transfer the meat that was served earlier but he didnt. As the server was collecting the dishes from our table I gave my son a queue about the noodles and he did tell her. The server listened and apologized which was a good thing ! Overall the place looks bright and in order but tables need attention . Clean the tables as customers leave so it's ready for the next. Will recommend this place for sure !

I ordered rice noodle soup and spring rolls, and my friend ordered a meal with rice. The working people were not friendly, and it took too long to order. Cause they didn't come to take orders There were some dirty things on the spoon, so I wiped it myself and used it. There were some dirty things on the outside of the dishes I ordered, but I didn't want to make it big, so I didn't cause it And flies flew around. Shouldn't something be done? The price of food was not high, but the portion was low. It's a large size, but I didn't think it was enough And the restaurant was cold. It may be a temporary heating problem, but it was only a matter of time before the noodle soup cooled and cooled Additional things Convenience of public transportation: Seating Availability: Parking Availability: Washroom: ????? Restaurant located far from skytrain station. The bus stop is near the restaurant. Restaurant is part of small arcade. And it has parkinf lot. I was afraid to go to the bathroom because this restaurant was not clean. I can't evaluate the bathroom because I didnt use.

Very lackluster meal.Skimpy on ingredients, I think I got the bottom of the noodle bucket because it was just a ball of little strings glued together. Not much meat either was all bunched on top,the broth was okay. Came with one slice of jalapeño ,tiny piece of lemon and very little water logged bean sprouts. The basil was very fresh and crisp Dont get me started on the tiny, hard chicken wings... Will be going elsewhere. There's way better in New Westminster! The service was great hence the 2 stars . Very friendly as well . Free parking out back next to the bank same building ,always a good thing .

A very friendly and always welcoming atmosphere with kind employees. The food has been really good every time I've been there and taken out for lunch. The prices are great as well!

Tried the newly-opened Pho 99 in New Westminster and I had the beef and fatty brisket pho #9 large. This was very good: love the broth! Shared a strawberry smoothie #88 and although it’s not sweet like we expected, we also didn’t want to be disappointed by its blandness so this is not something we would order again. Friend had the seafood pho bowl #18 small, not pictured. There were so many carrots and radish which she didn’t like. She did love the soup and noodles. Update September 30, 2021: returned today for a late lunch and had large bowl of #13, 2 salad rolls, and a #44 banh mi with my mom. First, the rolls are perfect, loved the satay sauce for dipping. The banh mi was crispy yumminess and enjoyed the Vietnamese ham, pâté and fresh veggies inside the sandwich! Really enjoyed how the sprinkled black pepper in the sandwich. The broth of the pho is amazing as always! New pics attached to this post. Also really liked the fragrant tea and good service at this location Update October 1, 2021 friend treated me to dinner. Not too hungry so got salad rolls. The shrimp and ham ones are the best; the grilled minced pork rolls were not to my liking coz it’s like cured meat and weirdly spiced. Pics attached

Worst pho in lower mainland period. Noodles were breaking up so it was impossible to eat with a chipstick. Had to use a spoon. Also part of the noodle got stuck together so it felt I was eating a rice cake. Only time Ive seen this happen was in Kelowna but first time ever in Vancouver. Yikes!

Have dined here “many” times, and have always found it pleasant. Staff are always friendly and accommodating. I ordered take out today and asked the lady behind the till for extra hot sauce/oyster sauce they pack 1 sauce per large soup, which is just not enough. She charged me $0.75 per tiny container which made absolutely no sense as is a free unlimited item when you are dining in. I made a comment that the price was absurd based on the size of the container and she mentioned that price of food has gone up. Sauce is not on the menu for charge nor on delivery services as a chargeable item. I was absolutely not impressed and will definitely take my business elsewhere next time.

This was the first time I tried take out Pho, I have to say it is one of the best Pho I have had, flavour of the broth was excellent and the meat and sides were very fresh. Staff is very friendly and service is very quick. This will now be my go to place, I highly recommend this place.

The service here is so good and the quality of the food is even better. This is by far one of the coziest restaurants I've ever been to. Such a great place to hang out casually for lunch/dinner. Their bubble tea is definitely one of the best in the city.
