4.5 stars CANADIAN MADE! Great workmanship! Let me preface the review with I’ve being bowling 5 pin for 10 years, I’m extremely familiar with other manufacturers. I came across Phipps as an owner, master and coach of my first bowling alley used to rave about these balls. After all these years I decided to purchase a set, let me tell you that these balls are absolutely perfect. The workmanship is impeccable, as the shop owner said these balls are high grade. I purchased the balls on a Wednesday and received them on Tuesday . Note: these were from the **bargain table**, brand new ones may take longer. The product catalog provides great information in regards to ball trajectory. The missing 0.5 stars, this is actually an issue with all ball manufacturers. - Only one place to view the product and no ability to test. Make sure to find a bowling alley with many different sizes and weights or ask your local league members to try their balls. - The owner was very kind, but I found there wasn’t to much help when trying to figure out what was right for me. For a new bowler this may be deterrent. - The owner wouldn’t provide additional pictures of the product. I would suggest providing the consumer pictures or videos if requested. Overall I would encourage everyone playing 5pin to purchase their balls here. It’s Canadian made and excellent quality.
