Do you live next to the best orchard and cider mill in the state? I do. Neener Neener Neener!! If you pass this place on US-127 right at the Gratiot/Clinton Co. line without stopping for fruit, donuts, and cider slush, you're missing out. If you don't make time at least once a year to turn west and stop at the actual orchard, doubly so. But go ahead and stop at that joint across the street where the parking lot is jam packed and you have to stand in long lines. This family-owned place focuses on the good stuff like their fruit and baked goods and cider and leaves the jumpy balls and train rides to someone else. Absolutely the best.
