Phil's Place is a good place to get a range of different fruits and vegetables. This can be your basic apples and oranges to your exotics like morels and sea asparagus. Hidden to the side is a sweet treat in the form of a shaved ice dessert. The shaved ice bingsu or "ice fruit salad" is very good and is worth it to stop by.
Can always find what I need here. From the basics to more exotic produce. Always fresh.
Not only does this place have amazing fresh produce but honestly the best bingsu Korean shaved ice dessert in town Such a treat and the owners are lovely!

Rip off. Overpriced, but then again so is a lot of the produce at St. Lawrence market. High rents, downtown crowd, atmosphere, cachet, etc. But Phil's goes a step beyond. Staff don't seem to know discounts and charge full price. Watch out for the price they put per lb. on the scales. A few dollars ripped here and there adds up.
