This location is large with a full variety of typical Pharmaprix/Maxi items. I'm always disappointed by the price mark-up of grocery items in Pharmaprix compared to the Maxi/Provigo locations.
This is the best Pharmacy in Quebec City, everybody is so nice and helpfull!!
We were transferred to this pharmacy after our own pharmacy closed several years ago. It is always complicated, extra fees, insurance “works” half the time, I have had to revive our insurance info several days. When we get their “service” of contacting the doctors on our behalf to renew prescriptions, half the time it’s paying for nothing because they leave a message and if the doctor doesn’t respond, it ends there: but you won’t discover that result until you physically walk back into the pharmacy. When I registered for the flu vaccination clinic as someone who has the right to have a free shot, the pharmacy said no, that they were “out” of free vaccine and that I had to pay, and didn’t back down until the clinic nurse insisted. Their attitude at the counter, though at times ok, has often enough bordered on rude. They charge a dispensing fee on each month of medication even if you are getting 3 months at a time. We’ve given it several years, we’re transferring somewhere else, not worth the aggravation.
