i walked into the store with a scooter and asked politely if i could leave it at the side. the manager yelled at me en francais, completmente d’or pointing at the door. i understand now it is the stores policy to not bring scooters but the madam who is manager is very bitter and the other employees were actually polite to me. i asked for her time because i wanted to discuss how the interaction made me feel and how she should politely speak with clients. she proceeded to run away to the back of the store telling me she has no time for me. the other employees in the stores response was she is just like that. please be better jean coutu.
Agree with other posters: store culture isn’t great, IMO. I had to use the cosmetics counter to cash out and she asked me if my card was my own and I felt like I was being profiled. The store itself is big and as far as I could tell was well stocked but the interaction I had was negative in tone, IMO. I found what I needed at this store and the location is very convenient, but not very inviting, IMO.
WORST SERVICE EVER! 1 called cosmetics dept. during the weekend - no answer 2 visited cosmetics dept. during the weekend - no attendant 3 no one at the store could help during the weekend, and no one there seemed to really care. 4 asked why the internet - same store same item - charges $5 assembly fee. They did not know why. In other words, because this store don't have a cosmetics dept. attendance who can help - I'm supposed to pay a fine of $5! 5 contacted the cosmetics dept. during regular business day from my workplace, asked to pickup the item after works during evenings hours. I was told that it will wait for me at the cosmetics cashier. Nothing waited for me. 6 came especially to pickup the item. Again, no one in the store could help, and seemed to care. 7 This store refused to redeem my airmiles for $10, telling me that I don't have enough miles. I had 94 miles, 70 of which I easily redeemed easily at another Jean Coutu. 8 contacted Jean Coutu before and after this review, but have not heard back regarding any resolution attempts. ---- a piece of hope is that after all that the manager has called me and even offered some compensation. Hopefully they will get better than the 2 stars which I give them was a single star till now.
Super friendly blonde male pharmacy worker/pharmacist, didn’t catch their name. Very helpful with prescription transfer
Just the worst, constantly telling me I’m late in picking up my prescription when I’m not it’s an error in their system, we have the same conversation every month and refusing basic non-prescription medications.
Worst photo studio service, don't try them. I got my us visa photo and they ruined it by cutting it the wrong size.
remember that scary cold day last winter? the wind was so cold on sherbrooke that day it actually drained my phone battery during a half hour walk. It had a full charge and was so sudden I was concerned that my phone died. The clerks at this Jean Coutu were awesome. My old phone wasn't a USB-C and they didn't have any of the older cables for sale, but one of them actually took my phone, warmed it up, and charged it in the photo thing they have. They didn't even need to do that, they went above and beyond. Great service!
Today I went here to buy the artifact tears and eye moisturizing ointment. The lady in the pharmacy was super rude and has zero patience to listen to me. I didn't even finish my sentence and she kept cutting me off. I only took her like less than 30 seconds, not sure what she was hurried about.
The pharmacy staff is always very helpful and polite. Each time I have questions they take the time to answer me. I highly recommend this pharmacy .
Just wanted to get floss at 11:55 PM on a Friday, which is 5 minutes before their closing time, but the manager-looking individual near the entrance didn't let me in and shook his head when I waved at him. It would have taken me exactly 1 minute to find the item and go to the cashier. Disappointing behaviour from a very well established brand. I guess the dépanneur next door will get my money in the future. I work in a call center and when we advertise a certain closure time, we let customers call in until the last second. Why advertising a closure time if you don't respect it?
