We recently visited the Petro Canada gas station in Bowmanville, and unfortunately, the experience left us disappointed from issues with the pump to poor service at the carwash, our overall impression was far from positive.nnOne of the most frustrating aspects was the pay-at-the-pump option and printer not working. This inconvenience not only wasted time but also required someone to go inside the station to complete the transaction. While this may not seem like a major inconvenience, it became a significant problem when considering situations like my friend's. My friend, who is pregnant and had her young daughter with her, was fortunate enough to have me go inside for her, but had that not been the case, it would have posed a considerable inconvenience for her. The gas station should prioritize ensuring that pay-at-the-pump services along with the printer for receipts are consistently operational, particularly considering the varying circumstances of its customers. We also purchased a carwash and were issued a carwash ticket. This, combined with the need to go inside to collect a receipt compounded our negative experience.nnAside from the issues with the pump, our visit to the station took an unexpected turn when we decided to utilize the carwash service. While car washes are usually an exciting experience, the end result was utterly disappointing. The overall quality of the carwash was abysmal. Numerous areas of the car were missed, and a substantial number of dirty spots were left behind. This lack of attention to detail in the car wash process reflected poorly on the station's commitment to customer satisfaction.nnI hope that the station takes these concerns seriously and works towards improving its services for the sake of its customers' convenience and satisfaction.
I bought gas of $40 at this station, $250 was also debited to my account for over 5 days now, I went there to complain the lady I met telling me to keep on waiting. My $250 still pending with this gas station. I will appreciate any useful information on how to get my money back.
I haven't been here for awhile and stopped by today. I first noticed all the empty coffee cups on the pumps. Then I noticed a unprofessional handwritten sign asking people to put the garbage by the front door. It was written kind of sarcastically. The gas is expensive enough and now to cut costs they take away the garbage bins by each pump and expect all the garbage to fit in one. Tim Hortons did this years ago and their properties are littered with trash. I will not return to this location and if this is the policy for all location then I will switch brands. It is pure laziness and an attempt at cost cutting AND customer service.
Joke of a store. New ownership closing the door after hours. Take all our businesses then lock us out. Unbelievable.
I've brought it to their attention multiple times that their printers at the pump do not work. This gets shrugged off every time but nothing has been fixed. Also, they have decided to take away all the garbage cans so the place looks like a dump with the garbage flying around everywhere. I thought this was a franchise and franchises were supposed to be similar across locations. This place is quite the anomaly
