Went in here on a whim and we were very pleasantly surprised. Very lovely decor inside, along with wonderful service. I got a Chai Latte and it's probably one of the best I've ever had! Also got a spinach and cheese pastry and it was delicious! Definitely a must go for some great coffee/tea and pastries!
What a gem right downtown Penticton! Love the building it is in! Delicious baked goods and very friendly staff! Relaxed vibe inside and some seating outside as well! We enjoyed our goodies from here very much!
A line is always a good sign when it comes to food. Was the line worth it? YES. Tried 5 things all amazing, coffee service is a bit slower but this is a bakery not a coffee shop. Staff friendly and it feel like you are in gram ma kitchen with decor. Showed up on Saturday and kind of sad they will be closed in Sunday.
This is the cutest little spot to stop for a coffee and bakery item. The caramel macchiato was so smooth and not too sweet. The strawberry tarte was delicious.
As I've said in other reviews, I search out bakeries whenever I travel, and I'm thrilled to have found two outstanding bakeries in two days. At this bakery, I wanted to buy one of everything, and they had quite the holiday spread--thumbprint cookies, stollen, etc. We tried the cinnamon-croissant twist, a chocolate custard croissant, and a hazelnut croissant. All were fantastic--and we'll be going out of our way to visit here again.
Unique little spot that uses its limited layout in interesting ways. Coffee is excellent, tea is super hot. The custard slice is delicious but makes a tasty mess, it's perfect to share and/or fight over. It can get noisy at times when the bread slicer is fired up, but otherwise the place has a warm and chill atmosphere.
Quaint, rustic bakery and coffe shop with amazing ambiance. All food is baked on premises and the smell will make your mouth water when you walk in. Croissants, cookies, flatbread and many others. Excellent coffee to complement the food. Friendly staff.
What a beautiful spot with Paris music in there! They have a lot of variety on the menu and good quality of products! Not that much table if you want to eat/work there, but tasty flavors!
Confirmed by the owner, Petra-sek is how it's pronounced. A Lovely Slovak root based bakery in the heart of downtown. What a treasure it is to have European quality pasteries in town. I have now tried Chocolate au Pain, Hazelnut Croissant that is made with hazelnuts, not nutella- very delicious, and have tried Croissant aux Amandes with marzipan filling!! Each croissant different and delicious. Best French viennoiserie is town. Don't miss this treat
We have been using Petrasek's bread rolls, baguettes and sliced rolls for a few months now, and all of a sudden we are getting 5 star reviews and excellent feedback on our food. The owners are humble, the service is organized and prompt. They will always have my support.
