Great, fast, and friendly service every time. Food is delicious and well prepared. Pictured is a Kafta Kabob Sandwich. It is minced lamb and beef mixed with onions, parsley, and lightly spiced. Had habenero, jalapeño garlic, and garlic sauces to go with it. All are tasty. Good to the last bite! Will return soon.

Chicken Kebab Plate with Hummus A simple, yet delicious, workday lunch. Cheers to a not-so-artsy meal at a not-so-famous Mediterranean restaurant located in downtown Forest Park. . . A glance at the spread speaks volumes of how healthy it is. Chicken, rice, grilled veggies, hummus, and olive oil. Could it be more balanced? Not just healthy, the chicken was very tender and flavorful, the rice not at all sticky, the veggies perfectly done, and the hummus so fresh and tangy. It couldn’t get better in terms of nutrition too. Protein from chicken; carbs from rice and hummus; fats from olive oil. . A go-to type place when we don’t feel like spending the big bucks or fighting the hustle-bustle of the city, yet would want our meal to be delicious and of course, healthy. Every item on their menu is great. Especially, their shawarmas. Have fun..!!
Ordered 2 of the sandwiches: chicken shawarma and beef. Although both were very good, in my opinion the chicken shawarma sandwich was excellent. Whatever sauce is used for that one is so flavorful!
We ordered the stuffed grape leaves and falafel. For entrees, we ordered the beef kabobs and combination of late, which came with chicken and beef, with a garlic sauce. It came with rice and warm pita. The meats were tender and seasoned with spices. The rice was seasoned with tumeric and other spices. Beware of the grilled shishito peppers: one bite and you won't taste anything else. We ordered baclava to go. It was delicious! It wasn't as sweet as Greek baclava, which generally is soaked in honey. The phyllo laters were brushed with honey and the filling seemed to be pistachios instead of walnuts. Also, the piece was generous and sliced into bites. This is primarily a take-out restaurant. Also very clean and nicely decorated. But I have visited in summer very hot and winter very cold; not very comfortable. The wait staff are male and responded better to my son. Service was fast and helpful, though. Good food, good service and fair prices. Fantastic hot tea.
I did not order food but I was picking up an order thru Uber eats. Said it would be ten mins. LIED. Took twenty mins and still didn’t have all the order ready. Served everyone else when I was there first waiting. Didn’t communicate well to me. Could of comped me a drink like wow
IT IS AMAZING, OMG TRY EVERYTHING. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO EXCITED TO EAT LOL. Vegetarian options: A lot of vegetarian options.
Unexpectedly good - I had the kafta kebab sandwich and it was very good. So were the grape leaves, hummus and falafel. Very pleasant surprise. They also deliver themselves which I really like.
The food is excellent and location is easy to find with great parking options. My wife and I were famished some kinda went nuts, starting off with the Metta appetizer, mint tea, and a Coke. Main course: herbed hand cut fries, falafel sandwich, a sampler of kibbeh, and the mixed meat kabob sandwich. We enjoyed everything and it was so great to be greeted warmly by the owner after we finished. Such a warm and charming man, we became instant friends and can't wait to go back.
