If I could give 0 stars I would. Smells like human urine absolutely disgusting. Was in between the doors as to not be where it isn’t cold was asked to move by the security guard, I asked why I couldn’t stand in there, was told because ita fire hazard. Makes sense so I moved, was waiting outside the door away from the wind was asked to not block the button that I wasn’t blocking when I told the security guard I wasn’t blocking anything and would gladly step forward if needed, was told im being grumpy. Explained that I didn’t want to be in where it smells like piss or outside where its -40 was told it’s not -40 and welcome to canada. About 2 minutes later asked me if I was even waiting for a bus. The downtown service center is usually nice in the morning. The evening security though? Lazy doesn't even cover it. I once waited outside for an hour and a half after getting off the go bus before they bothered to tell me there weren't any busses running. Who does that?nAlso, they really should update the Bus schedule on Google. Right now? If you're trying to find a Bus after, like, 7pm? you're pretty much screwed.nOverall, could really use some improvements.
it is absolutely infuriating as a student who relies on public transit that the peterborough transit system is more often than not late and that there is little communication about delays and cancellations between apps like transit, google maps and their OWN social media platforms. peterborough transit is known by many students as unreliable and for their mistreatment of staff and this is wildly disappointing.
I'll keep editing this whenever they somehow find a way to disappoint me.nn11/24/24: the bus comes by and drives off to the Lansdowne place stop, they apparently just decided to leave and not loop back. What a waste of my time. For some reason, on the weekends the system goes to shit.nn01/05/25: The bus was 5 minutes early, I just see it speeding down the road. Wonderful.nn01/11/25: I just barely make it on the bus, the driver rudely tells me that I'm late... The bus was leaving early.nn0/24/25: The bus was 5 minutes early. As I am walking to the stop to be early, I notice they are already on their way to leave. I start running through snow and the driver just passed by me, without a care in the world.nn01/27/25: The bus is early AGAIN. These bus drivers have no sense of time, and do not follow their schedules.nn01/29/25: They are early again. They are not getting my money after this winter season. They have the audacity to even increase their prices.nn03/05/25: They just can't get enough of leaving early, the schedule means nothing. All you can do is flip and coin and pray to God your route driver cares enough to follow the schedule.
Sporadically late or early always a crap shoot unless you board at the terminal. Overcrowding is a common occurrence, so is bus drivers missing stops or ignoring the request stop. No shelters anymore anywhere except main lines close to downtown. 76$ a month for a bus pass, as well I've had some issues with Hotspot bus pass and drivers.
