Have been going here for over 20 years and really liked the service from Dr Rendek. Now, Dr. Michelson is carrying on that great service. Just had work done by him and his assistant Victoria. Great job. They are just now upgrading the office and equipment, adding TV screens so he can show you what needs to be done and the results. They are also bringing in a new 3D panoramic x-ray machine that is state of the art. I would highly recommend Heritage Park Dental
Heritage Park Dental is awesome! Dr. Michelson really cares and went above and beyond to help find a solution to my dental issues. My son and I both recently had cleanings and were so happy with every aspect of our visit. It was my sons first dentist appointment, and they were so gentle and friendly that every night since the appointment, he gets excited to brush his teeth and play "Dr. Michelson". The front office staff is extremely helpful and kind, both hygienist's we had were wonderful. My husband came to my son's appointment and has decided to ditch his old dentist and move to Heritage Park Dental too.
Peter is a kind and friendly soul. He is honest about any work you need and how urgent it is; he is not out to convince you to have unnecessary work done. Scaling/ cleaning staff are great, facility is clean, receptionist staff are very good and will do whatever it takes to help you out. Only complaint is the cost--always slightly above my insurance cap: this is not so much a complaint towards this dentist as it is towards either: the fee guidelines for AB for benefits companies OR the astronomical fees that all dentists charge in Calgary-- either way, this office is by no means the worst for this; and if you consider that you aren't paying for unnecessary work, any expensive charges are piddles in comparison. Great work Peter and staff! Will keep coming back as long as we can.
Very friendly and gentle dentist. I used to be going another dentist until I was requested to sign a document that claimed no warranty with a big tooth filling. I refused to sign and switched to Dr Rendeck who have it done without any issue. My previous dentist made me ache badly when he gave me anesthesia shot. Dr Rendeck was so gentle that I didn’t feel any pain when he did the same thing. I’d keep going this dental as long as I’m in Calgary
The best dentist in Calgary! I was always super scared of the dentist, because of my bad experience in the past. Now I can have a visit even once a week.! If you are thinking you can’t do it, because you are scared ! GO TO DOCTOR RENDEK he will not judge, he will help! I’ll recommend to all of my friends! Thank you doctor Peter and team for such a great experience! I will give you more then 5 starts if I could
Can't say enough good things about Peter and his team, everyone is extremely friendly and gentle, my cleaning was a breeze I probably could have had a nap! Peter is very sweet he makes sure you are comfortable the whole process even if it's just putting cotton in your gums, I would not have put off getting cavities fixed had I realized how painless it was now. His phrase "I'm not throwing darts at people" really made me smile. I have no problem getting work done now :-
Genuinely one of the best dentists I've ever had the pleasure of going to. He's such a happy guy and he surrounds himself with people like him so the staff are always nice. He does good work and never guilt trips you or pushes you into procedures you don't need. He is the first and only dentist I don't fear going to.
I am so happy to have been recommended to see Dr Rendek. My daughter was 10 years old and had a fear of dentists after a few bad experiences. Our first visit with Dr Rendek I could not believe how calm my daughter was. His soothing voice and natural persona, put my daughter at ease. That was 12 years ago The entire staff is friendly, and it is a pleasure to look forward going to the dentist Theresa will make your cleaning feel more like a relaxing massage .... I suggested they rename the name from “cleaning” to 6 month “oral massage”. I recommend them to anyone I can! Thankyou thankyou thankyou!!!
I've been going to Dr. Rendek for the past year now. He is very efficient, courteous and knowledgeable. He will not push you into unnecessary procedures. His staff are also very friendly and competent. I'm very happy with his services, and will be recommending him to anyone in need of a dentist.
Dr. Peter Rendek is the second dentist I've visited in Calgary and after my initial visit I'm happy to say he is also my current dentist :. When I first moved to Calgary I visited a dentist DT that was inconveniently located, didn't have free parking and charged exorbitant prices! I felt locked in for the 1st year after paying for the initial exam and x-rays, so I put up with it. He was a recommendation that didn't pan out, so when it was time for my annual x-rays I was determined to find a proper dentist that wasn't just out to max out my insurance coverage like the place DT. I had some luck finding qualified professionals in my area for my other medical needs on RateMDs, so once again I turned to this online review site specifically set-up for reviewing health professionals. A quick search yielded the top reviewed dentists in Calgary, #1 & #2 weren't accepting patients but #3 was surprisingly, a "Dr. Peter Rendek" Note: he's since slipped a bit in ranking due to some harsh recent reviews that I don't agree with, read on for my perspective. He was really well received, and his reviews made him out as an honest and fair priced dentist with a great team of professionals behind him, a guy who cares about his clients and isn't just looking for a pay cheque. Sounded awesome to me! I found his clinic's website on Google, pretty plain and can probably use a bit of an update/tweak but the mandatories are there. The icing on the cake is he's located right in my neighbourhood, this was seeming too good to be true! So I went ahead and booked my appointment, I was happy I got squeezed in right away. My fiancé wasn't as lucky, she was quoted 3-4 weeks, so I must have snagged the last opening. They are open only M-Th 8:00am/9:00am-4:00pm depending on the day, so pretty limited hours and slots. I would advise booking your appointment well in advance! The clinic itself is located in a mini-commercial complex on the corner of Heritage and Elbow amongst other businesses. It's an older brick building but it's easy to get to, the parking is adequate, includes underground spots and is free! The dentist office is specifically located on the second floors northeast corner. I have posted a picture of the entrance :. Despite the building looking a bit dreary the dental clinic itself feels warm and welcoming once you let yourself in. The front end staff did a great job getting my credentials on the phone ahead of my visit to speed up the process and get me in and out efficiently. I've now visited twice and on both occasions the front end staff have been very warm and welcoming, without any lack of professionalism. I am also pleased that they offer direct submission for both my benefits and my spouse's, making my life much easier! There wasn't any unnecessary semantics, I always appreciate professionals being conscious and respectful of time. They also offer an e-mail reminder for appointments, reply to confirm. The RDH Jillian performed my cleaning/check-up on both occasions, she is very polite, professional and good at her job. I also like how she doesn't come off a judgemental or condescending like some other hygienists have been to me before; you know the one's who make you feel bad if your teeth aren't perfect? Well, I didn't have any of that here! Nothing but smiles :. As per usual dental clinic practice, the dentist comes out at the end for final examination. Dr. Rendek or Pete is a great guy; he's friendly, diligent and not afraid to answer any questions you might have. The only thing this clinic was missing is the usual TVs to watch during your apt., hopefully that's not a deal breaker for you because the people here are great, the prices are right and like the reviews indicated they're honest and care about their clients! Plus they have massage chairs which makes up for it ;. Pretty shocked by some of the recent bad press on RateMDs, I wouldn't give them much weight, check out the practice for yourself. I'm glad I did!
