This is a great literal hole in the wall pizza place. mThe place definitely needs some updates but is clean and small. The staff was very nice and helpful. They have some unique options for pizza. We had "The DJ" it was a pepperoni, jalapenos, cream cheese, topped with mozzarella, wonton strips, and sweet Thai chili sauce. We ordered no jalapenos, but yes Cream Cheese!!! Skeptical yes you should be VERY skeptical, but just so you know I was like that does NOT belong on a pizza like do they spread it on or what?? No they put dollups of cream cheese all over the pizza. The answer is YES!! It flipping amazing! I never in a million years would have guessed how much I liked it. The pizza even without was still good. It had I nice chrisp thin crust, it wasn't too chrispy and it wasn't too soggy. It was damn near perfect. We also ordered cheese bread as an appetizer which was really good too! Parking: Parking is in the rear, its a little confusing if you haven't been there before but you can see the sign on the back of the building.
The pizza here was excellent! This was some of the best pizza I've had in a long time. The service was good & the place has a fun atmosphere. The only knock I have is we got a half supreme & half pepperoni pizza. They charged me for a full specially pizza which was fine but then added on a charge for splitting the pizza when there was only one topping on the other half of the pizza that basically had all the toppings including pepperoni. It's not enough to keep me from going back but it definitely was something that dragged down the experience.
My husband has been wanting to try this pizza for a bit so we celebrated his birthday there and SO enjoyed everything! The salads were yummy and the GF Archie was a winner! Thanks Sami & Corey-great job!
I've tried a lot of pizza in my life but no one holds a light to Pete's. This small family owned and operated business deserves the highest of praise in all categories. Pete's brings a variety of flavors to the table when it comes to pizza. There are so many options to chose from. Some of the combinations might sound odd but trust and believe they are down right delicious. They use the freshest of ingredients an they are packed full of flavor. The service is spectacular. Servers are quick to attend to guests even when the restaurant is packed full. You know you're in a phenomenal restaurant when they are full on a weekday. Any restaurant can fill house on the weekend but it takes a truly special place to fill a weekday. Now I'm not being dramatic when i say if I were on death row and I had to choose my last meal. I'd hands down pick the Jointe and cheese bread from Pete's Pizza. No matter what pizza you're in the mood for, Pete's has it.
The staff is extremely friendly. Unfortunately, the pizza was terrible. Very flavorless. Sad. Cash only as well.
The pizza is good. But the crust was not very light. It was a little doughy and heavy. The meatball sandwich was good. I really liked the meatballs. It had roasted red peppers on it, but lacked a good sauce. Some sauce and a little less cheese, and it could be much better. And maybe make the meatballs a little bigger. Way too much cheese.
This place is so good. Its a little hole in the wall pizza joint. The staff were all phenomenal and nice. They had a power outage that night and still kept smiling like nothing happened earlier. The atmosphere is unique. Lots of neat stuff on the walls. Its a small place not many tables. We had to wait so we just ordered a beer and stood and watched them make pizza and took in some free smells. When the time came we ordered the all meat and the streaker. My wife ordered a salad after seeing one go by piled high with cheese. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Will definitely be back.
We arrived @ around 6 pm & older floorplan inside with majority of seating in back room of establishment. It was extremely hot back there & in kitchen area. There were 2 small tables in small dark front room. The one table was lower & I parked my guest in wheelchair @ that table. I made my way towards the cash register & open kitchen area. I spoke with the owners & explained it was our 1st time. She advised Friday nights the locals show up early & starting @ 4:30 pm & usually their busiest night. She promised when things cleared out some she would get us seated, but would need to be patient. A waitress took our drink order & we passed the time with conversation. It took @ least 45 minutes to be seated in the main serving area. Prior to being seated a steady flow of people came in for orders to go. The staff & some patrons spoke with me while waiting & friendly, & advised food good & worth the wait! We ordered small cheese pizza & large all meat pizza with extra italian sausage, mushroom & roasted red pepper. Pizza was thin crust, & very spicy, tasty & good amount of ingredients. When time to pay waitress advised they don't accept credit cards. Small ATM in front. We just had enough cash for tab & tip! Owner stopped to speak with us twice & gave us history of business & local sourced Italian sausage & fresh cheese, which they fresh grate. They are only open 3 or 4 days per week for dinner. Even with all challenges I was glad we choose to be patient & wait, treated us like family & encouraged us to return soon. Worth the trip if you arrive early, our patient & bring cash. Very reasonable also! Next time will order salads, as they suggested & plenty of fresh grated cheese on them! Thanks for making us feel welcome & checking on us several times, warm small town touch! Parking: Business on town square. Arrived at about 6 pm Friday night. Had to park across the street in handicap parking & push wheel chair 3/4 of a block. Wheelchair accessibility: Able to use main front entrance door with wheel chair. When we arrived main serving area was full, no seats available.
We ordered from Pete's last night for the first time. The pizza was over the top - so much cheese! We had the Vesey jalapenos were mild and the Archie. Both were excellent. Also had the hot wings - they were very good. This place is a quintessential hometown owned place with great pizza. Highly recommended!
Yummers! Friday night at 6pm. Seat yourself bar/lounge type restaurant. Tried 2 pizzas and pepperoni sandwich and cheesebread and salad. And pie. LOL! We were hungry. Pizzas were super good. Plenty of toppings, thinner crust, generous cheese. Cheese bread tasty. Baked in pan with garlic butter. Salad simple yet delish. Lettuce, mozzarella, pepperocini. House italian. Caramel apple pie.....drool good. French silk and peanut butter cup pies were fine. The food took a little longer to come out than we expected- will know for next time to bring change for the arcade games. Servers nice. Our bill was $68. Had half a pizza, 3/4 sandwich, and 2 pieces of pie left over. Fast forward a year for our next visit! Menu had more choices and we tried the Thunder Nut pizza, Vezos pizza, and an Italian sandwich. Outstanding. We did have to wait about 30 minutes for a table, but ordered at the counter so shortly after we were seated our food arrived. Played some skeet ball, Nascar driving, and other games while we waited. We had 4 people and had the entire sandwich leftover over, plus 1/2 a pizza. Total cost $90 before tip. Included pops, salads, pitcher of beer, pie, tea, 3 pizzas, and a sandwich. We will be back way before a year!!
