Rude employees, person at the front desk only stared at me when I came in. I have been going in to see the bird they have named Nelly for the past 5 years and every time she’s been fine getting on my shoulder. I always ask before hand but today the employee working was snippy and honestly sounded rude and egotistical saying that “it’s not allowed, it says on the sign.” That sign has been up for ages and I’ve never had an issue these whole 5 years. Very disappointed and off put by every employee I saw in that store. Felt judged before I even fully walked in. I feel bad I’ll never get to see Nelly again I just hope that they take better care of her than leaving her on top of her cage or in it 24/7. Very sad.
Brought my puppy in for the self serve bath. Everything was clean and stocked. After , I bought two huge bags of food which were carried to my vehicle for me so i wouldn't have to leave my lil one by herself! Amazing service always!
This is my go-to pet supply store. I was extremely loyal to a Pet Valu in Toronto when I lived there and now that I live here again, this is the one that I go to. Extremely friendly and very knowledgeable staff, and I've already adopted one of the cats that was available since living back in this area. I feel truly appreciated for being a customer there and I can tell that the staff really care about what they do.
Kandace is a Wonderful groomer, she is so kind and patient with my 13 year old pug….. Oscar looks fantastic and the cute little bow is adorable! Thanks again!
Great experience my dogs first time using self serve bath. Staff so helpful and made my dog feel welcome. It's a great service easy on my back easy for dog to access safe no mess to clean up and they even supply shampoo and towels! I'll never use my home bathtub again lol Buddy thanks you too
Truly appreciate the ladies at this location! They always have a great attitude and willingness too help. I dont drive and the bf asks me too call so its ready at the cash for him and they are always more then happy too do so as well as make sure he knows the number for the reward points. If i could give more star's i would. Highly recommend this location and the helpful and happy ladies that work here.
The groomer at this location is awesome. She has done a great job and was able to handle my dog's anxiety pretty well. The price may be a little bit high compared to other groomers, but pet valu indeed provides quality service. Would definitely bring my dog back here again.
Great store wonderful and friendly staff...all seem to enjoy there jobs
Today was my first time in this store and will definitely be my last.. I walked in and was just starred at by an employee with dark brown hair and glasses as she was folding towels. An older Caucasian man came in after and she said “hi how are you!” I walked by her she said absolutely nothing to me again. The older male followed and she asked him if he needed help finding anything.. I laughed because I couldn’t believe it.. then she turned around and asked me if I needed help finally after completely dismissing me as the first one in the store because of that I said no. As I looked through the isle for items for my guinea pig I felt someone just starring at my every move. I turn around and it’s her. She made sure she faced me while she was folding the towels.. very nice way of making someone who is clearly a minority in this city feel comfortable.
I will never take my dog here again! The groomer had such an attitude from the moment we dropped our dog off. The entire experience for my dog was terrible I could right a whole page but instead I hope she loses her job over this!
