My family and I visited Persian Top Meal for dinner a month ago. The service was great and the food was delicious. I had the Koobideh Kebob and the meat was incredibly tender- it was cooked to perfection! However, I found myself wishing that the meat was seasoned a little more to give it the traditional Koobideh flavour. Both the salad and rice paired well and the server gave us a bottle of white sauce on our table so that we could add as much as we pleased. I’d recommend trying this restaurant just for the tenderness of the Kebobs!
I went here because it had very high reviews and after eating their food, it is clear that it is because of the amazing service and not the food itself. This is a family run place and the couple are absolutely wonderful. The food is 3/5 and I'm being generous. They mixed up my order, which was fine but their koobideh is absolutely tasteless. It literally tastes like oil. Their chicken koobideh was better, but oily. I would not go back for the food. Also, they sold me a drink saying it was dairy free coconut milk ... It was not.
Highly recommended. We enjoyed our time in this restaurant. The food is good and high quality. The owner is a nice welcoming person. He brought us a complimentary bowl of Ghorme Sabzi and Tea for each person.
Ordered take out here and the food is delicious and the owners are so nice! I had the chicken skewer meal and the meat was moist and had a fantastic taste. Everything is superb! Highly recommend this restaurant
The first Persian restaurant I have ever been to. The owners were so nice and the food was amazing. I ordered lamb shank, which was very well seasoned and tender. I enjoyed every dish I ordered and found it healthy and balanced. The homemade yogurt was nice too. I will definitely visit it again!

Overall, the meal was great and very tasty. The meat and the rice were cooked splendidly and were very flavourful. Although the tomatoes were a bit more "soggy" than other Persian restaurants I've been to. But overall, great flavour!
Went here for the first time for lunch - I was fooled by the high rating here on Google. I don't know if I was there on a bad day for them, but my experience did not match the amazing rating they have here. Worst Persian kebabs I've ever tasted. Worst, most bland and tasteless Koobideh I've ever had. Prices are very high, and they served chopped cabbage, and called it salad. What a rip-off this place is. But they do it with a smile and great, friendly service.
We were staying at the Hilton Garden Inn in Richmond Hill for a family event and we were hungry when we arrived. There were several restaurants just one block away from the hotel and we chose to try Persian food. Boy are we glad we did. We were greeted warmly. The 4 of us had 4 dishes...Ghormeh Sabzi a kind of stew, chicken kabob, Beef Kabob and Lamb shank. They were all amazing. I had the lamb and it was some of the most tender, flavourful lamb I have ever had. We enjoyed talking to the owners and sharing stories about our families. The restaurant felt like we were visiting family friends. The food and service were exceptional and we look forward to a return visit in the future. Vegetarian options: Vegetarians can easily find appropriate options Kid-friendliness: the place is open and friendly Parking: lots of free parking.
Best Persian food in Richmond Hill! The quality and service is beyond 5 stars. The staff is so friendly and generous. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking to try authentic Persian food.
