This is a fantastic place to take your family for some exercise. You feel like you are climbing mountains going up the Bluff Trails. Horseshoe waterfall is an added bonus in winter or during/ after a rain.
Some of the best trails around!! The campsites are decently sized and have a good amount of privacy. The bathrooms were decently clean, but the showers leave something to be desired. The trails are gorgeous and the views are incredible!
The park is very nice. Hiking is great and nice sites. The campfire wood on side was almost dripping water. Used 15.00 in wood just to get a fire going. 20.00 and 300 strokes with a lid to fan the flame and we got 30 minutes in front of a decent fire. So disappointing. Don't buy the wood.....
Lovely area to visit, and not too crowded for camping! Nicely maintained hiking trails and camp grounds.
Campgrounds spacious, clean and pleasant. Trails and views are spectacular. Lots of wildlife to hear! Clean bathrooms and showers a plus! One of our favorite places so far!!! Will definitely be back.

Great Park almost on the Mississippi. Great sites. We tent camped.
It was and is beautiful! Love it but they should put a new road thru it.
