Dave and his team worked hard to help me deal with ICBC after an accident while on vacation in BC. It was great having a lawyer familiar with ICBC that was willing to work with me despite being in a different province. I always got a prompt response my emails and questions and never felt that my case wasn't important.

Fighting ICBC is not something you want to do on your own. ICBC is a government organization that will make unreasonable offers to people, hoping that their offers will be accepted. What you need to realize is that they’re not working in your best interests, but rather they’re only trying to save money for the government. We all pay our insurance premiums for a reason, and you would expect that because you do, you would get fair treatment from ICBC. I found this to be far from the truth. Before you do anything, you need to make contact with a lawyer for a consultation. David Brooke had been recommended to me, and it was immediately obvious after meeting with him, that he was determined to get a fair settlement from ICBC. He worked hard and tirelessly to achieve this. Because the process can be frustrating, and you sometimes want to give up, David’s experience helps keep you on track. There was always a positive feeling going forward after meeting with David each time. He also works on a percentage basis of the settlement, so there is no need to feel that you will be fighting ICBC from your own pocketbook. After my experience with David Brooke at Hillside Law, I can only recommend him as he has the experience in dealing with ICBC.
