To say I love a farmers market is so understated, and the Okanagan has some amazing farmers markets. We were in Penticton and were having coffee when they asked if we were at the farmers market, we said no but we should go check it out. We were expecting a small cute farmers market to find so many booths, and live music and food and streets worth of fun. It was wonderful to see all of the local businesses participating and the amount of customers that it was drawing to their downtown. We can't wait to go back!
The Penticton Farmers’ Market is one of the largest and best farmers markets I’ve been to. There’s a huge variety of vendors and different sections to explore, making it a really fun and unique experience. It was very busy, but that just added to the energy and atmosphere. So many awesome local products, food, and handmade items. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area!
Brought my dog Biscuit along on Saturday morning and the Penticton Farmers' Market was genuinely one of the most welcoming spots we've found in the Okanagan. Plenty of people stopped to pet him while I browsed, and nobody gave us a second look for bringing a dog through the stalls. I picked up the most incredible fresh peach jam from a local vendor near the entrance that I've already nearly finished. The whole vibe is relaxed and unhurried, which makes it perfect for a slow weekend wander with your pup.
Took the kids here on a Sunday morning and it was honestly one of the better ways we've spent a weekend in Penticton. The market has a great laid-back vibe where the little ones can wander around without me stressing out, and they were obsessed with watching the live musicians set up near the entrance. We grabbed some fresh peaches and a loaf of sourdough that were both incredible, and the vendors are genuinely friendly people who seem happy to chat. Definitely becoming a regular summer stop for our family.
Amazing! The largest & most beautiful market we have ever been to and right in front of the resort we are staying at. Wow...so convenient. So much variety...veggies, fruit, honey, hot sauces & balsamic vinegars, maple syrup, wool goods, flowers, gorgeous jewelry , wine, honey, doggie goodies, cinnamon buns, soaps, perfumes, coffee..the list goes on. A must see for all visitors to Penticton.
