Friendly staff, great quality clothing, variety of sizes. Good sales as well. No body shaming here! Love the atmosphere and how helpful the staff is. From undergarments to fancy dress, they have it all.
Although the selection of plus size clothing was good, the service here was lack-luster. I was offered no assistance and was in and out of the fitting room exchanging sizes for myself with no offer to help. When I did have questions about promotions or sales, I was answered briefly as possible while my sale was processed. As plus size shopping us limited, I would return, but would expect to have to help myself.
I asked for help in finding a 100 % cotton night gown and was directed to one rack and told to look there. I expected her to know the products on the floor. I did find what I wanted but it was a fluke because it was folded on a table and looked like a shirt. Customer service is when the staff know the products being sold and help the customer find what they need.
All Penningtons' Outlets ARE Great beyond words to shop until you drop
Was in the store a couple months ago bra shopping. Service was horrible and I left with nothing as I could not find a style/fit. Went back last night because there's nowhere else to buy my size bras I told Heather I would try on fifty bras and likely leave in tears with nothing. Heather was fantastic. She promised to find me a bra that fit and no tears! She provided great service and figured out what style/size fit me. There was only one bra in the store, so she took the time to order more online to have shipped directly to my door. Thank you Heather for your help when I was there last night. I don't know what you have done, but it is a big mistake. I always came to Penningtons' for all my clothes but now I walk in and can't see anything that is worth looking at and my favorite was the T Shirts. Have you discontinued them? I spoke to other people who are also very disappointed and are going elsewhere. The store now feels like Value Village or Surplus Herbies. I asked one customer if she had complained to head office, she said yes she had and they never got back to her. After today I will never shop on line, because of the quality of your clothes that can be hidden in a picture but the disappointment is not worth it when you have to return it.
Always helpful staff. Never have had a bad experience shopping at penningtons. A critique is that they have moved to almost all synthetic materials that look nice, but don't have a great feel.
Being on disability it is hard to budget for this store. Other than that I can't complain . the staff are friendly . And I've found some great deals here as well . Thirdly I'd like to say the clothing is well made decent quality and looks good . Overall I'd say Penningtons is a good store for Kamloops :
Shopped there yesterday and a staff member named KIM came over to help us. She was amazing.. she knows her stock and was very accommodating. She was very helpful and so cheerful.. a real asset to your company.
Found my NOLA pants x 3 and 1/2 OFF. YAY!!! Plus I found a lovely top in lively colours just right for my sister's wedding. Very pleased!!
