I had probably the best customer service experience of my life here - thanks to Mitchell at Penner’s. I was in town for a conference, and was invited to Bohanan’s, the nicest steakhouse in San Antonio, by some good people in my industry. However, I did not have any suitable dinner attire to wear as I didn’t think I would attend such a nice venue when I packed my bags. I came into the store an hour and 20 minutes before my reservation, and asked Mitchell to help me with the pickle that I was in. He immediately said he could get me looking professional on time. I came away with a nice jacket, jeans which Mitchell hemmed while I was trying on other clothes, shoes, and a dress shirt with plenty of minutes to spare before the reservation. The items he helped pick out look great, and while not cheap, I think are good value for the material and design. Not only did I come away looking and feeling confident, but Mitchell stored my clothes that I wore into the store in a pick up bag that I could get the next day. I really appreciate the effort, selection, and speediness of Mitchell at Penner’s. Thank you, Mitchell!
Visiting San Antonio, my wife and I saw Penner's and went in. I've shopped many fine men's stores, but Penner's is the finest by far. Their large selection of top-quality items are reasonably priced and beautifully displayed in an immaculate store. Zeke, our salesman, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He made it a fun shopping experience.

Penner’s has been in business for over 140 years for good reason. Their clothes are great value and good quality. The customer service is superb. They will tailor every clothing item for you for free! It’s a wonderful store for fashionable working people.
Wow!!! The excellent service and ambiance of this historic store is so special. In all honesty I felt like Marty in 'Back to the Future'. The sales staff, cashier, sales floor, the suits, pants, shoes, hats, the pictures on the wall, EVERYTHING, was so perfect. A place everyone should visit.
My Mother In Law left to visit the angels on a permanent basis last week. Family decided that we were going to wear the same color Guayaberas for Rosary and Funeral. And, I had not been shopping at Penners for over 20 years. Do not remember the experience then, but I do appreciate it today. From the time that I walked in, Harim walked over and asked my son and I what we were looking for. Pink Guayaberas and Black. Harim was very efficient, kind, said the correct answers for the questions I had. Badass Service!!!! My wife went with her sister to pick up some more Guayaberas and also liked the clothes for women. So we just went in today to grab her two blouses she fell in love with. Same great service from Harim. If you are looking for Gentlemens clothes, shoes and very nice clothes for women, you must shop Penners!!!
Went In just to look around and walked out with hat. Friendly customer service with fair prices. Had to pay for the box for my new hat, which was odd... Reason for 4 starts Other then that, great place. Didn't have time to look at all the great clothing they had. Saving that for my next visit
What an awesome job by the tailors at Penner's. After growing up in San Antonio walking by the store looking at suits through the display window, I finally secured the time & money to purchase one of my own. Thank you, Hiram, for the keen eye on the color combination and taking my order in with a day's notice.
Javier, helped me get everything together and gave me the vip treatment. I appreciate him and the great store layout and continued service. There’s a reason they are still open!!
