I just started with Peninsula CrossFit 1 month ago and absolutely love it. The Foundations course was excellent and prepared me with all of the skills needed to get started with the regular workouts. All the coaches and members of the gym have been so positive and helpful. Everyone is always smiling not just little polite smiles but big happy ones! and are extremely approachable and encouraging. This has made all the difference in alleviating any stress or apprehension I felt about “fitting in” socially as well as physically. The components and flow of the classes keep things interesting and fun and before I knew it I was finished feeling energized and happy and scheduling my next one. I definitely appreciated the instruction from the coaches on the multiple modifications which allowed me to easily personalize the workout to my abilities. I would highly recommend Peninsula CrossFit to anyone who is looking to get fit and have fun doing it!
One of the best CrossFit gyms that I have ever attended. The coaches and community are amazing. If you are looking to make exercise a regular routine in a healthy lifestyle, but have been intimidated about where to start, this is the place for you. You will feel welcomed, supported, and challenged in the best way.
Peninsula CrossFit is a very welcoming space for newbies and veterans to the CrossFit world. Their coaches and members are super friendly and will follow up with you to check in on your experience! I went for a drop in and got a good workout in. I would definitely recommend checking it out if you are in the area or looking for a new gym to call home!
I've really been enjoying the camaraderie at Peninsula Cross Fit. Early morning work-outs are a great way to start the day - even if I'm not feeling up to it, I always feel great after! The coaches are so encouraging and helpful. Don't ever think you can't do this, because you can!!
Joining Peninsula CrossFit has been the best decision I've made for myself in a long time. I have felt supported everyday since attending PCF by the coaches and the other members. I appreciate the individual dedication from the coaches and the flexibility as I learn the exercises. I have already recommended PCF to friends and will continue to do so!
I started with going to the boot camp classes run by Natalie which were always challenging and fun. I have now started my CrossFit membership, the coaches and other members are very welcoming and knowledgeable. If you are thinking about joining just do it! I should have started a couple of years ago when I was first considering trying it out :
So much fun, I really enjoy the workouts. The coaches are very supportive and everyone is friendly. I've been taking group classes for a couple months and plan to make this a permanent thing. Would recommend! :
Six months ago i was not aware of the Peninsular CrossFit in Sidney or what it presented. CrossFit programs tweak the crucial variables that allow you to keep moving forward—not only sets and reps, but also exercise selection, rest periods, and exercise order, among others. Master the subtle dance between these, and you can truly keep progressing. Although i’m Just starting with lots to learn. Work hard, eat the right foods, stay hydrated, and get all the sleep you need and maybe more. Along the way, soak up all the tips you can from the couches. CrossFit has it all, just be honest about your ability level, especially in the early going. Coaches often set up programs with percentages based on your one-rep max 1RM because they don't know your actual strength level, but they know what percentages they want you to be using relative to your 1RM. Make no mistake, there's a lot of sweating and brutal metcons in between the start and finish lines, not just pure strength work. But having these objective benchmarks in your file will help everything between them be better. Thank you for turning my “cannot's” into “cans.” You’ve pushed me further than I thought I could go, and shown me that I can reach my physical goals if my mind wants it bad enough. Training with you has benefited my perspective in other areas of my life and I feel more empowered than before. Coaches dedication to fitness and wellness and the importance of Physical activity along with mental well being. Also the coaches ability to connect with there students and build a healthy lifestyle with inspiration and motivation. In conclusion At Peninsula CrossFit the coaches are positive, enthusiastic, supportive, trusting, focused, goal-oriented, knowledgeable, observant, respectful, patient and are clear communicators. Thank you for being there for me.
I have enjoyed each session with coach Natalie and had a blast working out with others at peninsula crossfit. Natalie is kind, organized and very welcoming. I would highly recommend taking her class!
PCF provides an inclusive, positive, helpful environment. When I started my sessions 6 months ago, I felt lost in the gym on my own. I could barely do 1/2 hour of gentle exercise. Now I'm up to an hour with my trainer guiding me so that I safely push myself. I'm learning new exercises and new muscles! I heartily recommend PCF. And a special shout out to Olivia for her great support and expertise.
