Awful. The first time we ordered from this place the order took forever and the food was mediocre. We gave them a second chance, aware that many businesses are under staffed. Tonight, among other items, I ordered the Szechuan Dumplings with Hot Peanut Sauce. What I got was tasteless dumplings smothered in melted peanut butter. It was actually heated up unsalted peanut butter! As it cooled, the peanut butter started to solidify and became one big blob. It was not edible. The other items we ordered were again, mediocre, both the Chinese dishes and the sushi. Never again. Even though this place is within walking distance, we’ll drive to another place. I saw another review with the same complaint. Just wish I had read it before I bought this mess.
I ordered the Szechuan Dumpling with Hot Sesame Peanut Sauce and got dumplings with peanut butter spread on top. A few drops of spicy oil and a few sesame seeds sprinkled on top. I figured it had to be a mistake but when I called was assured that this is how it is served. I love peanut butter but this was terrible. I hope this keeps people from making the same mistake I did.
Ordered 2 rolls to go for our daughter who just gave birth at DHMC. She said they were excellent. Friendly atmosphere while waiting and they were ready in a matter of minutes. Will definitely be back!Food: 5/5
The food was average at best. I got a crab rangoons and two sushi rolls. The fish was rather flavorless or was overpowered by whatever sauce put on it. The rice definitely was not fresh. Overall, pretty meh.Food: 2/5
If diverse China and Japanese food is what you are looking for you have found it. Great options at an affordable price. Luncheon deals ideal. The restaurant is divided in various sections which I found appealing. The idea of options for various occasions. Food taste good and the place looked clean. Recently renovated I went May 2019. I would go again to try other options. My only problem was with one of the ladies there. She wasn't very friendly at the beginning with me. And not at all to one couple seating couple tables near me. I am an ESL and I can assume it might be a language barrier. But don't let me constructive comment disappoint you, and go on and try on.
The food was OK but nothing to rave about. Stopped for a bite on our way to Canada. One of the few places to eat. It was fairly busy but no wait. Staff were inattentive and we waited a long time to order and get refills on our drinks.
A surprise find! They have authentic Chinese food too. Just ask for it. It is comforting to have some good Sichuan hot food after a rainy gloomy day. Never thought I can find any decent Chinese restaurant in this area. Looks kinda run-down from outside. But once I walked in, a whole different world. Elegant environment and very nice dining setting. Also eye catching awards on the wall. One last word of advice: make better looking menus on the outside wall. The cheap look almost made me miss the good food.
Ordered delivery from their Japanese menu. Average sushi, very small portions/rolls. Get Yama or Sushiya instead.Food: 2/5
We enjoyed the restaurant very much. Food and service were very good. We will eat here again.Food: 5/5
I have gone here multiple times during the past year and this was my first bad experience and im unsatisfied that they think this is a acceptable level of quality to serve a customer. The spring rolls which are my favorite thing to get were just black mush inside didnt look like a vegetable at all.
