The guy up front the owner I think was very rude! I said, 4 for buffet. And he pointed with an attitude to go sit. I felt like walking out. The lady is extremely nice though. Also our server was excellent food was not the greatest. Garlic bread was hard as a rock. Nothing specialFood: 3/5
Not worth what they charge. The food was not good. My husband had the seafood lasagna and he said it tasted rancid. He only ate one plate. When I am paying $17.50 a person I would expect better food. I won't be going back anytime soon. Wish we would have looked at the buffet before eating. Would like a refundFood: 1/5
Everything here was amazing. Food was delicious, staff was warm and friendly, and I actually didn't feel sick eating Chinese for the first time. Definitely would recommend this place. I don't live here but if I did, I would be here every night. Food: 5/5
Worst place ever. Horrible customer service, very rude and disrespectful. We had a big group and was nearby so decided to stop at this place for lunch. Right when we walked through the door the Caucasian owner complained that we were a big group, told us we had to pay first before we eat, which was fine. He rudely told us to all step aside when another family came after us that we have to "make way" for the ones behind us. Owner told that family to go ahead and fine a seat without paying first like he told us to do. We watched that family find a table and went to get their food. We told owner that we will pay separately since there's more than 1 family and he refused. He said we had to pay together in one bill. We explained that we don't know how to split up the bill if we do one bill but he still refused to listen. We said we'll go somewhere else and owner rudely told us he ain't got time to agrue with us about how to pay bill so to just leave. He told us to leave rudely, which we gladly did. We took our business elsewhere. There's no need to support negative people like those at this restaurant. Don't eat here. Just take your money elsewhere, too. No star but need to to post this.
We thought the food was quite good at this buffet. It did seem that they had a preponderance of chicken dishes honey chicken, sesame chicken, general tso’s chicken, chicken with cashews, black pepper chicken, but only one beef entree and no pork entrees. That seemed a little strange because we were there at dinner time on a weekend. I will comment that I didn’t like their fried rice. They store it in a rice cooker and it had a strange flavor to it...I think it needed more sesame oil. All in all, the experience was about what you would expect at a Chinese buffet.
I love Chinese Buffets, I'm so happy that the Peking Buffet is in my little town. The food was so delicious that I totally spaced the dessert stuff and I never miss the dessert part. I'm 6'2 and 300 pounds so I don't tend to miss the dessert section. The food was so good that I was so satisfied that I forgot about the sweet stuff. Actually I'm ready to go there in a few minutes on my Ebike. It's a wonderful place, last time that I was there I asked if I could wear the Chinese birthday hat with the gue to send a picture to my daughter and they did. I wish that they had a Mongolian grill thing but it is a cool place and the food is great...
One the best buffet I've been too in a awhile I'm usually from the chicago area but coming here on a vacation to Wisconsin was a surprise. Again food amazing, staff friendly, clean. Overall good experience.
Although the selection is smaller than most, the quality is above the rest. The standouts to me were the salmon. It was the most moist and flavorful salmon I have ever had! I would come back just for that alone.
Don't go here! Rude dude in the front. We had a big family with 5 families and he want it all on 1 order to pay. Don't get me wrong, we would have paid but it was easier for each fanily to pay for their own bill. Thank goodness we end up going elsewhere and I'm actually glad it turned out the way it did and gave our business to a better place. Take the extra 45 mins and go to Journeys in Madison instead!! Edit: After reading other reviews we were actually told to pay first before we eat. Sounds like we were the only one told to pay first. Not sure if it's bc we had a large group but that would be a dumb reason.
PEKING BUFFET IS BACK!!!! I dont know what happened, but Its better then ever. I came here for the lunch buffet and the food was absolutely fantastic. Not only that but the place was SPOTLESS!!! Very clean.
