What a hidden gem this truck is!!! If you're in the Ottawa area, this place is 100% worth the detour! You'll be welcomed by amazing people, and you'll get to taste the best smash burger in town. If you want to try something different, the Havarti Pesto Chicken Melt is OUT OF THIS WORLD: the radishes compliment this melt perfectly, and we've been craving it ever since. If you have room for some more delicious food, the Xango is a unique experience of flavours that will leave you speechless... and maybe a little sleepy ;. We can't recommend this family business enough and can't wait to go back there!!
First time trying Pearson Street Smash Burgers after all the crazy marketing post almost everyday these guys do on all the buy/sell pages to drum up business along with their own FB page. The reviews were amazing for the business so we thought what the heck let's give er a go. Heading to the baseball/kids play area parking lot you are greated by the amazing smell of cow maneaur. I mean that's that's not their fault but it set the stage. Food came quickly with no issues - the food is realtively well priced considering the price of food now a days so no issues there - I'll pay for quality. We took dine out option and went somewhere else that had less of a "smell". It was a bit dissapointing in all honesty compared to the raving reviews. The potato style bun ruined the whole hamburger for me. If it was an average sesame seed bun I think it would have been a lot better - it was also lacking salt. A seasoning like A&W would have been amazing on it with a normal bun. The coleslaw was average. The grilled cheese was average - not the tastiest - again the type of bread ruined it for me. The poutine however was very good - good cheese to sauce ratio. I don't think I'd go back unless I wanted the poutine again.
The “best burger” platinum sticker on the outside days it all. These burgers are amazing. They might not win any beauty contests, but damn, they are amazing. Fries and poutine are great too, but the hot and smokey smash burger is an absolute showstopper.
These burgers were bursting with flavour. I can see why they have so many good reviews. The poutine was delicious. I will be back again!
Top quality products from top quality people. I found Pearson Street Burgers last year at their first location and became a fan. These burgers are not only the best in the area, they're the best I've ever had. If you're from out of town and think to yourself..."Is this burger worth the drive?" Look at the reviews... It sure is. You will not be disappointed! I will close off by saying that I'm normally a ketchup fanatic and put it on everything. I have never put ketchup on anything from here. The smash sauce on the burger is amazing. Grab yourself one on the side to dip the fries. Side note, the gravy is also .
Amazing as always, it's always super clean in there, they could literally set a standard, that's how clean this truck is. Food is always made right and hot to order, always fresh ingredients, portions are well worth the fair prices. Service is always above and beyond, bilingual and polite, attentive and right, really adds to the experience. Always good conversation with the owners and staff, very sad that this is my last one of the season. Already counting down the days until they re open next season. I highly recommend this place to all burger fanatics. By far the best smash burger I've ever had. Kid-friendliness: Located directly inside a park, great place to bring the kids Parking: Plenty of parking on site; either by the park entrance or by the arena side, there's a lot of space. Wheelchair accessibility: The park is accessible friendly everywhere so no issues here for those with special needs.
Ok foodies! I am sharing with you the newest, most amazing, delicious food truck to hit the town of Embrun. Less then 30 minutes from Ottawa, you will find THE BEST burger in my opinion, of course you will ever put in your mouth. Now picture this, a smashed burger on a potato bun, topped with lettuce, tomato, pickle, bacon added, cheese and special sauce. Chef Chris and his team run the Pearson Street SmashBurger n' Melts food truck, they just opened on June 10th, they are still looking to add to their menu, so if you have suggestions they would love to hear about it. They are located in the parking lot of a local brewery called Tuque brewery. From the first bite, I knew I had to share just how tasty all the food was. We each had an original double smashed burger with a poutine to share, and Illyana had a bacon poutine. The chef and his team delivered great food and we left with full tummy. We also decided to add a glass of beer to accompany our great burger. We can't wait to go again, this is a must try!! #Supportlocal #ottawafoodiestalker #FoodTruckStalker
I came here with my dad and we each had a single smashburger with grilled onions and shared a large fry and a banana xango with candied bacon added. I'd heard a lot about how great the food was, so my expectations were high. I was not disappointed! Everything was delicious, filling and the staff is super friendly! It's definitely worth the trip up to Ottawa and I look forward to eating there again!
The BEST poutine I've had in years! Their melts and smash burgers are to DIE for, all made with fresh ingredients and cooked incredibly. Dont get me started on the Xango and the secret menu Chico Xango for dessert is a MUST order no matter how full you are after the main meal. Chef Pearson and his team treat everyone like a good friend and you're always welcomed with a smile! Pearson Street is our go to food joint from now!
Best Burgers I have had in a very long while! I order online and by the time I arrive the bag is ready for pick-up. Just a perfect system and perfect burgers. Make sure you add Bacon and Sautéed Mushrooms : Just delicious!!!
