I came here a lot with my family and we all loved it! I came up last summer and couldn’t believe how awful it’s become! The lake is drying up and they kept that old bridge up for some reason. It looks so tacky. You can’t even use it! The new owners need to clean this place up! It looks so sad now. Overpriced garbage campground.
A very beautiful lake and beach to boot. I have coming here for a year now, mostly for scuba diving. The deepest I have dove here is about 75 feet. If you wanna go swimming here, its a good idea to pick up a bathymetric map depth chart from the lake office for free.
My favorite place for a dive! Crystal clear water for both SCUBA and beach going. No murky water here! Super warm water. Since it isn't huge, it isn't ice cold like Lake Michigan. Well taken care of and friendly staff! Pricy to get in but worth it. You can tell they put the price of admission into keeping it beautiful.
What a fun place to just swim all day with no crowd. It was really easy to keep an eye on the kids too.
I love Pearl beach. Laid back and great people. The beach is amazing. Drinks are good. Staff is friendly. Clean and spacious.
Picnic are really Small , it close at 5, if you are not getting in the beach you have to pay$ 15/per person 5 yrs and older just for use the park. Not enough tables , all is cash , staff is rude. You can not bring your camp house. The view is pretty but Not going back soon .
Beautiful Quaint Lake Resort Homes with Spectacular Beach, Snack Bar, Bar. Scuba diving available through Loves Park Scuba. Entrance fee to beach is currently $15 per person or I would have rated a 5
This place use to be amazing... since new owners it is has become a joke. Don't waste time or money here
Very disappointing. Reserved 2 sites with friends 2 months prior to stay. Was moved 3 weeks later due to ant infestation on one of the sites. Called a week before stay to see if it was resolved and was told they can't find an exterminator. When we arrived at site there were ant mounds every 6 inches on that site. Had ordered 2 bundles of fire wood and asked employee on golf cart if there was a shovel to pick up the dog vomit that was on site when we arrived. She told us it's not her job we need to notify maintenance and drove away. Restaurant and bar that used to be on beach is vacant. The owner of seasonal site behind us parked on our site and said he gave us justenough room to have a fire. Beach and water was very nice. And wasn't busy....we found out why. Not sure why it was run into the ground but we won't be back anytime soon.
This park is okay for traveler but is obviously for full-time trailers. RVers put out in back while old, run down permanent trailers have best spots. Good for over night, no laundry or restrooms!
