The pie itself is very good, no need for the toppings. Instead, order a second pie with different flavor! Beef pie was spicy, chicken pie was tasty. There were many people waiting at the time, not because of too many customers but because most of the staffs busy doing everything else instead of selling pies.... and I need to ask 2 times to get a pie... If they can serve with more passion, it will be 5 Stars.
A tidy place of its kind. Pies of different stuffing you can choose at your convenience. An option to peak your pie with mashed green beans and potato. I ordered a steak with mushroom pie, and it was delicious. I will surely comeback to try that kangaroo pie. Might be delicious, too. Coffee and desserts are available as well. Parking is limited, though, being in Whistler Village. No public washroom as well.
Cozy little restaurant with great service. The cashier was patient and answered my questions about the menu items. The pies were served quickly after ordering. Great place to go if you need a quick bite! I ordered the Chunky Steak and Mushroom Pie and got it peaked. This is my first time having a peaked pie and it’s amazing! The mashed potatoes, peas and gravy went so well with the pie. It’s deceivingly filling. The steak was soft as if it was slow cooked and the sauce created by the mushroom, juices and gravy went so well together. I also got to taste the Steak Bacon and Cheese Pie which my girlfriend ordered; it was also great! We ended the meal with a caramel dessert. The crust and topping of the dessert was brittle but the filling was creamy; very enjoyable but the pie was the star of the show. This is definitely on my list to visit again when I’m back in Whistler.
A quaint little shop space that's quite centrally located. It has great, flavorful hot chocolate, and a super tasty steak and mushroom pie that is a bang-on winner. The pies can also be served peaked, in which they will heap a dollop of mashed potato and mashed peas one on top of each other. I also ordered the Hopper, which is a kangaroo pie, but it was a tad sweet and not really for me. But that steak and mushroom will definitely make me want to return.
This place is great. Feels very cozy with limited seating but has GREAT PIES! I recommend the steak bacon and cheese, or the Traditional Aussie. Both have great flavor and you have to try it peaked! Finally if you have a sweet tooth, grab the mixed berry pie. Highly recommend!
I've tried Peaked Pies before, but they have a wide selection of pies so this time I decided to try "the Hopper" which has Kangaroo meat. I also ordered their Cinnamon Bun for some dessert. The Hopper is on par with the other pies at Peaked Pies. I enjoyed it, and will definitey try another flavour when I order again. The Cinnamon bun is also good. I wished they added more cream cheese / icing. I found myself with pieces of cinnamon bun without any icing while eating. Otherwise, the cinnamon bun was tasty.
My photo suggests it is very good right? But it is only half true. The beef one is good with solid 4 stars but the chicken one we had isn't. That one is just average... I like the size tho. So I will give it a solid 4, will go back try their other pie.
I had the chunky beef & mushroom peaked pie and my boyfriend had the curry beef one peaked = topped with mashed potatoes, peas and gravy. We both really loved our peaked pies! They were filling, tasty, and very reasonably priced!
Amazing tasty pie! I ordered a turkey cranberry peaked pie. Everything was perfect! You have to get the pie peaked for sure! The extra mashed potato and mashed peas and gravy was the cherry on top! The order came really quick and piping hot. Will definitely come back and try the other pies.
I was told many good things about this place. They were all right. So good!!! It was worth the trip. I will definitely return to try their other pies! The pie was flaky and delicious. Good portion. I love pie!!!
