Very hospitable restaurant with super friendly, hardworking staff! The cozy, old-fashioned interior makes me feel like I am at home. There are usually only 2 people working but they get the job done quick. Lots of variety in their menu and great quality food. I highly reccomend this place! Beats all the other Chinese-Canadian restaurants in the city. :
The food was great, plentiful and hot even at the end of the day! This was a great little drive from Saskatoon!
We went there before covid and it was a very poor customer service aside from the fact that the restaurant was dirty. We will visiting watrous again today and hope things change! Will post a review to update my post!

First of all, I'm confused over all the positive reviews for this restaurant. We tried this place 3 times, and were disappointed each time. I found the staff very uninterested in us as customers. Several people simply hanging around the till, and not bothering to check if our meal was ok. The food was loaded with MSG, and the veggies were soggy and obviously were sitting there since early in the day. The final straw for us was when I asked for more fried chicken as there was none at the buffet, but was told they won't be making more since the buffet was over soon. In fact there was still almost 45 minutes to go! The same thing happened a second time. There was 2 pieces of dried out chicken left, and I asked them to prepare more. They said no, not unless someone eats the last two pieces! We haven't been back since...
