I ordered a Large beef broccoli with fried rice combo. The rice was really dark and too salty. I do not know how they made the beef broccoli but I could have made that at home. The sauce was very thick too much flour added. I did not want to drive too far to get Chinese food but this was very disappointing. The egg roll that came with the combo was the only thing I enjoyed eating. Lastly, the picture only shows half of the quantity. Will not be going back again.
White rice drowned in sesame oil and soy sauce is not fried rice.I thought it was funny how I asked for duck sauce and she adamantly told me no,because I didnt order the combo.It didnt make sense to me because I just wanted sauce for my food.Quality wise chicken on a stick is not appealing.It reminded me of dry beef jerky.All in all first and last time.I can make better at home
I've tried many times. Various dishes. Always disappointed. Nice people, and the prices are cheap, but they cut too many corners in their ingredient care and freshness. Spend the extra dollar and get better Chinese food elsewhere. Yp Sichuan and Great Wall are both excellent. I live nearby and wish this place were better, but some places get stuck in their ways and let quality decay instead of slowly raising their prices to keep pace with costs. Waste of talent.
Been coming here for years. Lots of good choices on this menu, but I love their chicken fired rice, their egg rolls, and their home made hot mustard. Don't forget a couple bucks for the tip; its well worth it and they work very hard.
First time ordering Chinese food from Pea Pod and my hubby and I were not disappointed. It was recommended by a friend, but I had my doubts as we've been disappointed with all of the restaurants we've tried before. He ordered pork egg foo young patties and I had the beef & broccoli. I hadn't heard my hubby so happy about his egg foo young in a long time and I was extremely happy with my food! I was eating that tasty broccoli like chicken wings LOL This will be our place for Asian cuisine and so close to home
This is my favorite place to eat! Their egg rolls are to die for I've never had a bad experience here. The lady that runs the ace is so kind. I just love her. She makes everyone feel like family. I have an onion allergy and she goes out of her way every time I order to make sure I can eat everything I order without a reaction or allergy flare up... I love this place
I went to Pea Pod Inn for the first time last week Friday. I’m extremely picky about Chinese food, but when I tell you this food is BOMB, I mean it! I’ve been looking for a good Chinese food place & I’ve found it. I had the vegetable rice & fried chicken wontons & it was amazing. However, I give it 4 stars because the lady at the front was a bit aggressive especially when I asked for extra sweet & sour sauce & it smells a little weird in the restaurant. However, because the food was really good, I will definitely be back again.
The food here is so good, we keep coming back for more. Good variety and the combination meals are the best value. The largest size is big enough for two people or two meals for one person. They have one of the best Won Ton soups as well. Winnie is great and always remembers our names and orders. Can't recommend it enough
We love you guys! Best Chinese food I ever had Your going to find a better building and we'll all come back running. Enjoy your time off you deserve it!
ALWAYS great service and great food. I have been going to the Pea Pod since 7th grade and I'm in my 30s! I love her eggrolls and her garlic sauce!
