The service was great. Nice people. But the halawat a jibneh was thd worst I have tasted in my life. It was disgusting. Literally the worst I have tasted in my life. The ashta cream tastes like they used cottage cheese. The actual cheese sweet that wraps around the ashta is so thin and tasteless, I have no idea what to make of it. I have yet to taste the knefeh which i bought. It is the main reason drive all the way to Laval. I have never written a food review but this was so shocking. To be fair though, I am comparing it to a very superior version of the same sweet that i usually buy at al mahrousse. But even if I compare it to the ones I ate in Lebanon, i am honestly baffled at their audacity to call this halawat a jibneh at delices des cedres. It just isn't that.
Their kenefe is my favourite around town. I dont have much experience with the rest of their sweets, but I had tried many kenefe around MTL and this has slowly become my favourite. I like their friendly service and price is also good.
Its very good knafeh but the kaak is not always fresh making it hit or miss!
I only tried the knafeh it was very good maybe next time I should try something else The knafeh was very good and the price was reasonable
Honestly the best kneffeh place i went in a long time. Fresh desserts, staff is really generous and welcoming. Will definitively come back!!
We had the best kenafe so far. On our way back to Toronto we also bought the Easter kaak and was amazing You should try this place and you never regret. I hope they will open in Toronto one day
I only tried the knafa. I bought the 1Kg and I like it the most in Canada. the best part is that it is not sweet. you can add sugar syrup to it if you want. But all other places I have tried always have the syrup already in the knafe and I hate that since it has always been to sweet for my preference
Probably the best Lebanese pastry shop in town going head to head with Mahrousse the flagship of middle eastern pastries. Very friendly folk too
Knafa was disgusting. I regret going there.
Knefi was below normal. 7lewe el jeben was as I am eating something white supposed to be kashta in pita bread. Not recommended for whom are looking for real oriental sweet.
