Loved it! We stumbled upon Pâtisserie Coralie as we were headed elsewhere. I'm so glad we decided to ditch our other plans and eat here. We had delicious coffee, latte and cappuccino, a ham andcheese baguette an an avocado smoked salmon baguette. All items were delicious, they did not disappoint. It was all so good we took an almond chocolate croissant, chocolate Madeleine's and a baguette for later. My party would highly recommend and will definitely be back. I almost forgot to mention the friendly, courteous staff, and adorable seating areas.
Exquisite cafe. I was pleasantly surprised to find a Parisian cafe like this in the Midwest. Very refreshing to see since the US is sorely lacking independent bakeries. The quiche was delectable and the croissants were perfect. Prepare for a wait, it seems pretty popular.
As a local Real Estate Advisor, I pride myself on knowing all of the wonderful things my community has to offer. Patisserie Coralie is one of those little gems that makes Evanston such a special place. I highly recommend pairing an almond croissant or one of their petite quiches with a delicious cup of coffee. Bring a book and sit at one of their side walk cafe tables- just like you are in Paris!
I really like the food and service here coming here since the early 2018 but I truly don't understand why they are keep serving food in these paper containers with plastic cutlery. It's uncomfortable, non-eco, gives poor esthetic, change taste and lower the whole experience drastically. Not a partisan vibe : other than that, it's one of my favorite breakfast spots in Evanston.
This is my favorite place for coffee when I’m in Evanston. It is a French style coffee shop and small bakery. I feel like I’m transported to France every time I walk in. The latte was great with almond milk. I will be back sometime soon!
It’s on my way to school so I came here too more often than I should. Latte is awesome. It’s not healthy food but it just tastes good.
I've stopped in a couple times at this location and I like their croissants which is why they get 2 stars but lately, their sandwiches have just been drastically missing the mark. I ordered a pesto & veggie sandwich a few weeks ago that left a bad taste in my mouth- it tasted watery? I hadn't gone back for a while until today when I decided to give another sandwich a try- the prosciutto and brie. I am severely disappointed, I will include a picture for reference. There just wasn't enough of anything to warrant the $9 in my opinion. Edit 04/25: The shop responded to my review and sent me a coupon to use during my next visit. I am hopeful my next experience will be great. Thank you to Patisserie Coralie for your great customer service!
This is a beautiful quaint patisserie with delicious macaroons and very yummy flavors. If you like lychee as much as I do usually preferred in a martini form with muddled lychee; you must have the lychee flavored macaroon. We also enjoyed the pistachio of course this is my favorite lemon, creme brulee, salted caramel, red velvet, chocolate flavors. I especially enjoyed the lovely decor which displays rolling pins and mixer varieties on the walls. The chandeliers were lovely as well. My favorite was the very important message that we seem to forget in our busy every day life: " Going too fast is wasting time...stopping is dying....slowing down is living." What a profound message for all of us to slow down!!
They had a really nice selection of small foods and treats. We got the key lime tart, and it was deleliscious. They did mess up my drink order, or I just took someone else's drink by accident. Either way, they were good. The inside does have a lot of different places to sit, but it is very crowded. The outside tables worked out just fine for the semi-sunny day.
A slice of Paris in Evanston! The people who work here are very pleasant and friendly. The coffee is good and the desserts all look very well made. I recommend the roasted vegetable baguette, warmed up. Nice place to sit outside as well.
