Decent little Diner with excellent poutine! We come here whenever we are in the area for the authentic poutine...it's a roadside diner so don't expect a 5 star rsstaurant but they know how to do poutine! The hot dogs are also decent and tasty albeit a little small.
We love this place - have been coming for years. Poutine is some of the best around. Just went by today however and although advertised hours were until 4pm, doors were locked at 3:30?! Guests still inside eating. Just drove from Lac Superieur for this so more than a little disappointed.
Classic no frills casse croute with ample seating indoors and outside. Honestly some of the best hand-cut fries in the Laurentians which brings about one of the best poutines as well. This place also includes sales tax in their prices which is a nice change from the norm in Canada.Food: 5/5
Fries and gravy both very good. Lester hot dogs are okay. *Oct 18. Excellent fries as ustal. Outdoor seating is nice. A bit smaller portion than the other places. Gravy is really good.
The food frozen burgers or frozen breaded chicken burgers were below basic, check out the grill cheese we got after sending it back, what a joke. The fries and poutine were ok. the service was ok, although insists on tip at the counter.. not offering glasses of water and forcing clients to buy water in plastic bottles seems wrong on many levels. I would consider reviewing that policy. The longer we stayed the more negative the fast food experience & review got
Just terrible...poutine had hardly any gravy, my double hamburger looked like a single party cut in half....but this 5 dollar Michigan hot dog was the icing on the cake If you ever had a Michigan hot dog...you should feel sad for me...lol....I think there was a tablespoon of sauce
We heard this place was good, so we drove out to try it. We were disappointed by the poutine and the burger. The burger was overpriced and we were charged extra for tomato and pickles, without being told. The poutine was small and over priced we bought the largest one. Would not recommend it for tourists, as you will be disappointed. Overpriced at $17.25 for a poutine and double cheeseburger. I wouldn't mind paying if it were good, but it missed the mark.
Fantastic poutine. Very Authentic. Fries cooked perfectly, nice balanced gravy. If we are in the area it's always a must.
The Poutine was so yummy cheese and gravy was delicious
