Pasta Tree and Smokehouse

I have eaten at this restaurant over a dozen times, spread out between breakfast and dinner. For breakfast, get something with bacon! They cure their own bacon and it's amazing! Everything they serve is fresh and that is reflected in the taste. Eggs benny is one of my breakfast favorites. For dinner I recommend the wings. Big, plump, juicy and a little different. Everything they serve is good. Prices are fair especially when you consider the quality of the ingredients. A great place to go for special events such as Mother's Day.

Fries and salad came , then 20 minutes later luke warm wings on wing night with only 3 other tables in the place ...service good , but wont be back . we ordered 9 lbs of wings at our table, the only one hot was mine , which was served last due to making it wrong and having to reorder. Chef Friesen knows better for food delivery timing than what is going on here? Maybe he should actually show up and see how it is not working out and make some changes soon as this is a small town and word gets out. I spent 160 .00 with five of us, probably be the last time as this experience happened last summer too with luke warm wings.....that time i thought it was because it was packed , but not this time???

Place was ok. Food was better than expected. But no ambiance, live music was too loud for the 4 tables there at 7 pm on a Friday. Staff was friendly.

Wanted to like this place. Had a great deal of barbeque across NA and sadly while we could see some effort here, it fell short of really good. Tried all of the meats, and everything over-sauced and too sweet. Hid any smoke flavor that may have been there, but I'm dubious about the smoke time claims...no ring at all on the brisket. Surprised and put off by the fact that if you wanted to try their sauces, you needed to purchase a 3 sauce sampler tray to do so. Not usual for a BBQ place; most of which are proud of their sauces and dispense them freely (offering jars for sale to take home). Service was pleasant but sparse and slow. Worth giving them another go and see how it plays out.
