Best Italian food around!!! I’m almost always impressed when I eat here. The fresh bread with real butter, the big selection of amazing entrees, a huge wine list and plenty of dessert menu options make for a great eating experience. The waiters are always great and professional. The serving sizes are always big enough for two or even three meals so it’s a great value when you look at it that way. And lastly, I’m in love with their tiramisu. I’ve had it other places but theirs is the real deal, so delicious!
Delightfully indulgent to say the least. I'm in love with the Lobster Ravioli and soaking up the sauce with the homemade bread. My husband Steve loves the bruchetta and would be happy just eating that. My best friend Stella loves the Salmon Newburg, which also has my love. The salmon is cooked perfectly and melts in your mouth. The tiramisu is absolutely the lightest, most airy I've had with a perfect balance of coffee and cacao. I'd rather buy you your own than share bites of my tiramisu. My first time here our waitress was overbearing and always asked questions just when you took a bite, was difficult to understand and wasn't able to communicate effectively with us. However, every time I've come back I've had awesome attentive service with servers that look for the social cue that they're needed yet still maintain the occasional table check. I actually enjoy the booths on the bar side vs the main dining side so much more.
The chicken piccata was average and gummy like sauce. The chicken breast was not seasoned and lacked complexity in flavor profiles for the dish. The shrimp dish forgot name was the best meal. Comes hot, robust, good volume of shrimp. Loud environment overall but did quiet down when about half empty. There is. Wait if weekend during peak times so heads up.
Good food with great lunch prices. Waiter did not ask if I wanted dessert but I would have loved to try the lemoncello cake. Next time.Dine in: Yes
I live in Minnesota. My daughter first found this restaurant back in 2020. Went back for my birthday last month. We drove 2+ hours. If that tells you anything! It is worth the drive. Love the variety of the menu. The homemade bread is the best I've ever had. Their Ribeye is so great. The staff is so friendly. They have a full bar. It is a family/kid friendly place. You will not regret dining there.
My teens are pretty finicky eaters but all three of them loved the appetizers and entrees here! Food and service were amazing. Decor and ambiance were tasteful as well. This is an easy 5 star review. Absolutely no negatives, everything was even better than we expected!
Absolutely love this restaurant! Food is always perfect. Wait staff are very good, but usually the place is so busy that they are busy enough that refills and such are a little later than what would be the best time. My biggest complaint is that the dinning room is large and has very little sound dampening. So conversation with a group of 8 or more people is very difficult, and impossible if anyone has any hearing impairment. I come back here as often as possible for a date night when the food is important but conversation is lower on the list.
Best pasta sampler I’ve ever had. Their sauce is out of this world. Highly recommend, staff is so sweet!
Really clean restaurant, we were seated promptly and we were ready to order right away. The food came out rather quickly. I ordered lobster ravioli and it came out hot and the taste was rather delicious. I recommend this restaurant and I will be eating here again in the future!
We were in town for my father-in-law funeral . We had a big party of maybe 15 people. Some of the people there were first times. Everyone raves about the soups, salads, pastas and the lovely bread! Positions were huge to the point where everyone in our party needed a box. At the end of our meal the owner stoped by to say hello and we had to break the news to him that one of his most loyal customers had passed away. He was very sad to hear this news. When we went to pay the bill the server had informed us that he had taken care of the our entire bill. We had no words but thank you to the whole staff. We left our server a very nice tip. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the mason city area. Thank you and keep up the good work!
