Great experience renewing my passport. Was greeted with a smile, had a lovely chat with the person processing my passport and was in and out in 30 minutes. I recommend going early i.e. first thing in the morning. Excellent service all around!
Yesterday I got there at 1:30pm and there was a huge lineup. A lady came out and because I was not travelling for 2 months told me there was a 2 hour wait, they were at capacity and sent me home. Today, being the 4th of January I decided I would try walk in service again and this time went there at 10:00am. There was 1 person waiting before me and within 25 minutes I was finished.nThe gentleman- RYAN H - who went through my application with me was wonderful! So polite, cordial, knew his stuff and treated me like I was the most important person in the building. Thank you for your excellent service Ryan H. nThank you Ryan H for such great service!
Absolute mess.nIs the two words I would use to describe my recent experience.nnI went down two weeks prior to apply for a new passport. I had all the forms filled out , sat down with a lady I mentioned my Driver's license was expired but it's been paid for and had no trouble at the DMV with the proof of renewal to get my birth cert. She denied me told me everything I needed filled out and sent me on my way. Today I was questioned about the punches in my passport multiple times which the lady I seen 2 weeks ago did. The lady serving me acted like she didn't believe me what so ever. Then questioned my postal code multiple times and wouldn't believe me??? Until she searched it twice herself first time she searched she said it was not my postal code and continued to question me, i then showed her on google it was right. The second time she proved it to herself.nI was also told I should be doing a renewal form, the lady 2 weeks ago said nothing of the sort. Went over all my forms and said they mostly looked good. I just feel like no one is doing their job correctly. Why was I told my forms were good from one lady? And come down again and it's all wrong? There shouldn't be so much miscommunication. I did not feel comfortable or heard. Both cases the ladies I dealt with were huffy and puffy with me and belittled me.nnAll the information I wrote down about my Driver's license on my form I had 2 weeks ago they didn't even ask for proof of a new one . Wasted my time
I have no way of reaching them except for the toll free number but they can't help me with my issue. I go online to book an appointment with Passport Canada and all is fine until I get to the part where I have to choose the location of which office I wish to have my appointment. I'm looking for 100 Hebron Way but it's not on the list of locations despite it having passport services. Because of this I can't make an appointment. There should be a LOCAL number to reach them. This is ridiculous!
