Thanks to the staff at Gordie's for a wonderful lunch. We enjoyed the vegetarian burger, calamari, and salads - all very good. We had the salmon platter with eulachon grease. It's an acquired taste and completely unique. We think it has magical powers. The young lady serving us shared stories on how the families make the gleetna and its importance to them. We really appreciated that.
Gordie's Restaurant has the best view in town and the food is amazing. I had the best salmon burger and the smoked salmon is delicious. Staff are friendly, service was great.
Unfortunately my service was not great. I ordered a burger to go. Told to return in 1/2 hour. When I returned it took another 20 min. If I had know that in advance I wouldnt have ordered. Burger was small, overdone and mediocre. Darn!
Thanks for all the awesome food. My faves on the menu are the appy’s. Calamari and Bambam strips are my faves. The girls are always friendly and helpful. I will be back soon and trying some more on the menu
Ate at the restaraunt. Got the salmon burger and zucchini sticks, both were excellent. Salmon burger was particularly good, not breaded or deepfried just seasoned and panfried, which I prefer, and still moist and tender, bun was buttered and panfried which was a great touch, and it had pickled onion slices which really elevated the whole thing.nnSmall menu, high-ish prices, and smaller portions might be a turnoff to some but food was so good I didnt mind.
