Cute little hole in the wall cafe in new Westminster. They had a large variety of drinks on their menu. Their pastry/dessert selection seemed to be fairly decent but not as many options as I thought there might be.
I love this gem. I entered thinking that the previous shop was still here ,so I accidentally came on Passenger’s opening day. I met one of the owners and he was super nice! Not to mention all the employees were super nice as well. After opening day, I keep coming back! Today Hanna made me such a great matcha frappe ^-^ thank you Hanna
Went to Passenger Cafe for a treat before the movie. They recently launched Vietnamese Banh Mi and pretty good deal! I think their price there was adjusted lower a lil bit last time i went. There is also studen discount going on but infortunately i just graduated lol! Staff was great and helpful! Definitely gonna come back!Recommended dishes
The pastries here are amazing. Best croissants in the area. They have a lot of vegan options as well of fantastic quality. They have a few staple pastry and dessert items, but there's always something new and interesting each time I've gone too. Recently got a vegan chocolate chip cookie, and it's a great cookie even if you're not vegan, it was really darn good. Vegetarian options: Pastries: Ever-changing menu, but have seen vegan cupcakes, danishes, croissants, and cookies.
passenger spanish latte didnt have enough condensed milk. i couldnt really taste its sweetness. 2/5 latte tasted like warmed milk. 2/5 croissant was burned after we requested it to be heated although it was the best thing we had in the sitting 4/5 service was decent. 4/5 they also serve bbt which seemed odd. look for the shop on the 3rd floor of the new west station. i know this shop is new but please step it up. there are some stiff competition in the area.
The coffee is great, the staff is always friendly. They have a great range of baked goods as well. The cost is a little higher than Tim Hortons and Starbucks but I will pick Passenger over those two any dayFood: 5/5
After my disappointment with the Hive Cafe nearby, I decided my luck to visit this new small cafe at the new west skytrain. I was greeted by a very enthusiastic yet loudly young man. With low expectations, I grabbed ham and cheese croissant to go however to my surprise, I’d say this is one of the best croissant I’ve had so far!!! Bravo to Passenger Cafe and for sure I’d try next pastries soon.
I stopped by here nearly every Saturday when my sister was at RCH. Absolutely love the sausage rolls and the soups. I've also had the ham & cheese croissant, and the quiche that's made with leftover croissants. All have been yummy. The service is always outstanding. I feel valued when I'm here. I haven't had the chance to get back recently as my sister is no longer in the hospital and it's a long drive from Abbotsford. That being said, I choose to go to Landmark Cinema at New Westminster Station so I will be able to visit Passenger before whatever movie I'm seeing.
Delicious and mouth-watering sweets and pastries. Lila is a caring attendant. They really have a fantastic crew in a cozy and adorable environment. I will return many times. And the best thing, it is on my way to work. I can get out of the sky train and have a relaxing and sweet break.
A surprise discovery in the New West. Never realized we had a neighbour French Caffe. The cake logs were excellent, coffee strong and the staff very friendly. Danish pastry turned as close to the original as it can be outside of Europe. The location is a bit weird though - on the second level of New Westminster SkyTrain station. Thus, the surroundings are noisy and somewhat unwelcoming, hence the four stars. Otherwise, it would be full 5 stars. I am definitely coming back!
