Ordered the meatloaf with candied yams and Mac n cheese. Meatloaf has tons of flavor and both sides we excellent compliments. Friendly service as well; would highly recommend.

Been eating here about 10 yrs. Haven't had everything on menu. I stick to what I know. Meats: smothered pork chops, fried chicken, fried fish... good. Sides: yams, cabbage... good. The hot water cornbread is good too! My only issue is it's TOO HARD to get through on the ph, so I just drive there & place my order. A must try tho.

Overall Just didn't seem like down home soul food. Smothered chicken was completely fried. Greens tasted like canned greens. No cinnamon or brown sugar in the sweet potatoes.

This place has decent food but they never answer the phone and when they do they are always closed. Why answer the phone if you are not open for business? It's hard to place an order.
Really good food for a good price. Catfish was well seasoned, yams were alright, greens were good, hot water cornbread was great. Only thing I didn't care for was the rice and gravy, it seemed like there was too much pepper in the gravy.
