Pasco / Tri-Cities KOA Journey

Story

The summer light lasts longer and winter nights are milder in Pasco, Washington. The confluence of the mighty Snake, Yakima and Columbia rivers creates a natural environment that demands exploration and provides recreation for boaters and fishermen. Set in a high desert region, the Pasco KOA is centrally located in the Tri-Cities region so campers can easily move from event to attraction. The area has 10 golf courses for the beginner to the pro. At Sacajawea State Park, look through the eyes of Lewis and Clark's Shoshone guide as you tour her namesake interpretive center and meander through a traditional Wanapum village. Discover why Washington calls itself the "New World" wine region, as you tour the many vineyards in the Yakima and Walla Walla valleys. Visit Kennewick's Columbia Park, known for its festivals and hydroplane races. At the end of a fulfilling day, relax at the Pasco KOA-your Tri-Cities home base.

The two people that helped on arrival were great.but the day we where leaving I left something on the out side table went back an hr later nobody knew what I was talking about until I was going to call the police to come talk to them then. All the sudden what I left showed up. So keep your belongings locked up.

Very large KOA. Right off freeway. Has swimming pool and spa. Restrooms and showers. People live on camp site, outer areas with the most shade trees. Pet friendly, but too far to walk animals, on the hot days to doggy areas. Not impressed with this KOA.

Not very tent friendly. Tent sites now sleep in the gravel. UPDATED- the staff are VERY nice. Good customer service so I changed my star rating.

so NO cable - doesn't even get 1 channel, internet is pretty good. Landry room is fine. Spaces have a little grass - but don't leave your chairs or anything out overnight because they run the sprinklers with no notice and everything will be soaked in the morning. they say there is a dog park - HA - there is a half grass half rock space about 12 by 12 not fenced at the front of the property to "walk" the dog... I don't understand what is wrong with parks they know most RVers have an animal with them... Right on the highway - so very noisey - they offer ear plugs when you register... I wouldn't stay here again.
