Parliament House in Victoria is an impressive and must-visit landmark! The architecture is stunning, with beautiful details that showcase the building’s historic significance. The grounds are well-kept, with lovely gardens and statues, and the location offers a great view of the Inner Harbour. Inside, the guided tours are informative and give insight into British Columbia’s government and history. In the evening, the building is beautifully lit up, adding to the charm. Whether you’re interested in history or just looking to explore, Parliament House is definitely worth a visit!
Wonderful place to see! The front is beautiful, but there can be a lot of tourists and it can start to feel a little basic, but there's a lifehack for it! Go around the building through one of the side arcs and see the back side of the Parliament House. Of course, the front is great and the statues are fantastic, but the back is still definitely worth seeing! It has a lot of beautiful balconies, columns, extra entrances, and one of the side parts the right one if you're looking at the front of the building even has a small rose garden which adds to the atmosphere. Also, it's MUCH less crowded there and you can get more unique photos taken :
f you are visiting Victoria, you can't miss this place. You can get good pictures outside, and it is beautifully lit at night. If you are interested, they offer free guided tours, but you need to get tickets in advance. Tickets are available starting at 8:30 AM
Unfortunately, we were unable to visit the interior of the building upon our arrival. However, the exterior is quite glamorous and still worth spending time exploring. The intricate details of the architecture are truly impressive. As night falls, the building is illuminated with a magnificent display of lights, providing an awe-inspiring view. The vibrant colors and patterns of the lights create a stunning visual experience that is not to be missed.
Such a cool experience to check this out when we visited Victoria! Unfortunately we didn’t have time to explore the inside of the building but it was still definitely a sight to see!! Highly recommend checking this place out while visiting Canada!
