We were in the area for just 1 night and we happened upon this Gem of a Motel.nWe had a King bed, modern furnishings, with a rocking chair and a small dining table, large screen TV and carpetless flooring.nExcellent value. We highly recommend it.
Nice and clean. Not far from Parlee Beach.
I’m absolutely disgusted in the way my best friend and her family were treated last night. After being out for a couple of hours, they returned to their room and there was an godawful smell. They went to the front desk and asked to speak to the manager. The maintenance man informed them that the managers were done for the night. My best friend informed him of the problem and the maintenance man laughed in Their face and called them liars. And at 9:45 eastern time, I received a text from my best friend saying that they were kicked out and given their money back. I suggest avoiding this motel and if I could give a lower rating I would
I was there with 3 generations of family. We had a very nice 2 bedroom unit for the first 3 nights. Highly recommend it.nnThey last night the only option we had was to rent a unit with a kitchen which they may refer to as one of the apartments. This unit also has 3 beds, but is not nearly as private and there is a step in the unit which were a concern for the older guests.nnContinental breakfast served 8:00 to 10:00. From 8:00 to 9:00, it was swamped. 9:00-10:00 there was plenty of space. The fresh croissants are amazing, well worth waiting until 9:00 in my opinion.nnNice lady at the desk is pleasant and very helpful.nnShuttle will bring you down-town, but does not travel often.nnIn short, they have a lot of value to offer for the money, but a little information makes the stay much more pleasurable.nnIf you enjoy drive-in movies, there is a screen next door and it faces some of the units plays Friday and Saturdays I believe.
We had a 1 queen bed room on the main floor; The good: The room is very clean, well maintained, fairly sound proof, great staff. The bad: The AC unit is loud and has poor controls, the window style ones :, breakfast costs am extra $5 per person but it's just cold food, was interested in that, the TV is small and about 20' away when your lying in bed. The next visit to Shediac I pay the extra few dollars and stay in a newer hotel that includes a hot breakfast!
