Parkview LaGrange Hospital

My wife had a stroke and was admitted to the swing bed rehab at LaGrange Hospital. We can't say enough about how great everyone was. The nurses and therapists were excellent. This small hospital has a staff who care about patients and they seem to enjoy working at this hospital.

If you ever have Kim culler as your rrt I highly recommend you find or ask for someone else I just got my results back , she wrote I didn’t have a cough when I literally have a bad nasty cough I’ve had pneumonia and wasn’t quite over it yet, she also said I didn’t follow directions when I clearly did I just couldn’t hold my breathe long enough obviously I was there for lung issues, and told her prior I had been told by doctors I had possibly only one lung working so obviously harder on me to hold it as long as she wanted me too. So writing things that aren’t true and writing things to make me look. Bad isn’t cool at all. Highly don’t recommend! Should not be in the field if you can’t tell the truth

Very nice and went out of there way to help me with metal in my eye. Got me an appointment with a specialist at 10pm on Friday night! Would recommend highly!

I work in an environment that requires safety boots, and my workplace is not very clean, so I often get dirty within just a couple of hours. One night, I became sick with a severe headache and double vision, so I went to the ER.nnWhile there, a nurse approached me and asked for a urine sample. When I asked why, she said it was ordered by the doctor. I provided the sample, and about 15 minutes later, I received a notification in my chart about new results. When I checked, I saw that the doctor had ordered a drug screen.nnI have no idea why this was done, but I believe the doctor judged me based on my dirty clothes and boots, assuming I was a drug addict. This was humiliating, especially as someone who has never smoked or drank in their entire life.nnIn conclusion, my experience with the ER, especially the night shift, was incredibly rude and unprofessional.

Covid Delta was close to literally killing me after another nearby hospital that has been on the verge of closing completely failed to even provide a covid test. I walked barely into LaGrange ER with O2 levels in the low 70s. They confirmed covid and began protocols but stepped outside of them slightly and gave me a med that halted my cytokine storm which is probably the #1 thing that saved my life. They then continued to stabilize me and prepped me for ALS transport to Ft. Wayne where I spent the next month recovering before I was well enough come home.nnFrom everything I've seen, Parkview is a quality chain and LaGrange is no exception to that. My entire family has switched primary care to Parkview LaGrange after this experience in '21 and we've been happy since.
