I would NOT recommend park memorial in Lamont, Alberta. Ed, the owner and operator was disrespectful beyond belief. 3 days after my father passed away, my mother and I went in looking for my father to get cremated. Not once did Ed offer his condolences. But he did not hesitate to grill my grieving mother and I about our financial situation, asking us repeatedly how the cremation costs were going to be covered. All he cares about is MONEY. He also added an extra $1500 to our invoice for a "funeral service charge". We did not have a funeral service for my father, he was only cremated. He also went to my dads doctors office and took the death certificates before my mother and I could get them which she needed to provide the government for income purposes. Do not ever go here if you value being respected, especially after you have lost a loved one.
