Paris Baguette has a lovely atmosphere, making it a great spot to grab a bite or relax with a coffee. They offer an impressive variety of pastries, which makes choosing just a few a delightful challenge.nnI tried the turkey club baguette, warmed up, and it was delicious—flavorful and satisfying. The cappuccino was good, though it had a slightly burnt taste; this might have been a one-off or just my palate, so I’d give it another go.nnI also picked up 6 pastries to take home, and they were all tasty—fresh and well-made. However, it’s worth noting the prices are on the higher side about $30 for six pastries, and while it’s not quite like stepping into a Parisian boulangerie, the quality is solid for what it is.nnOverall, I’d return. It's worth a visit if you’re in the area and craving a treat.
So I visited the place in the evening and this place was packed with customers. There were only 2 girls at the cash counter, and they had no smile on the face. So this was my 1st time visiting Paris Baguette in Newmarket. I got for me and my familynnChocolate croissant - this was not good at all. Very small amount of chocolate, and it was no good.nnPlain Croissant - this was worth the money, good, buttery.nnHash brown veggie item - this was also good but again only good when we heated up and ate.nnM&M cookie - this was not good and not worth the money.nnAlmond croissant - I had high hopes from this as it was the expensive product. But it was garbage as I have eaten so much better ones.nnMocha Frapee coffee - this was good.nnRegular double double coffee - This was OK.nnOverall I spent 50.00 dollars and to be honest it was not money spent well.nnI would say go in thr morning time when things are fresh. Don't go in the evening as things are stale and you pay the full price.nnPlease have service with a smile. It doesn't cost much to smile.nnI would rate this place 5 out of 10.
Milk bun was great, but the rice donut was too sweet. In the afternoon, there was just few selections.... I wanted to try some seasonal items like pumpkin Danish and donut, however couldn't get it. Matcha latte was great too.
Not many selections on a Saturday afternoon. Most of the pastries are sweet, compared to the other location. Tried to looking for savoury and got 2 croissant, which are exposed to air in the fridge. Was surprised with this way of displaying pastries, they got extreme dry. Warmed up at home and luckily they are tasty. A bit pricy as well.
Newly edited:nnThere has been a change of staffs lately. It was chaotic. It was not rush hour but the manager was doing cashier half way, left the customer waiting without the full invoice, then went to heat the sandwich in the oventhe previous order, went back to finish the remaining invoice, then all of the sudden, went to organize the cake display?!.. it was liked all over the place.nnDuring the whole process, the manager was not friendly and impatient. There are 3 people in the cashier counter but they seem to be running around with only 1 task on their hands. Compare to the old times, only 1 girl working on the whole set, and she has no problem at all. Smooth, one by one neatly organized, giving you a relax and comfortable experience in the cafe.nnThis is definitely not worth the 20 mins. I will wait for the opening in Elgin mill location.n————————————————————————————nnEverything is great: The food, the displays, the tidiness. The only thing is the air conditioning. It’s not strong and it’s hard to stay there to have a drink.
